New Dracthyr/Earthen Customizations - Color Scale

Could we get more options for secondary colors for Dracthyr? The primary color, we have 15 options of some solid colors but the secondary color only has 11.

I’ve seen some pretty cool dragon art that I’d love to visualize on a Dracthyr, but they’re not an option. I’d love to have a darker purple chest, or maybe a solid green chest with yellow scales.

Dracthyr and Earthen are the only 2 races that technically could have a variety of color options compared to the other races. Rocks/Gems come in an infinite amount of colors. Dragons in WoW also have a seemingly unlimited amount as well. Technically, druid flight form also could have this.

I would love to see the implementation of one of those color sliding scales where we can adjust it by sliding it, and getting the color we want, and then being able to adjust the tint or strength of it.

Maybe make it as an advanced option for coloring? We could also do this with other races, depending, at least on their eyes and hair. Hair can be dyed any color and colored contacts are also an option. Tattoos can also apply here.

Does the current coding of the game allow for this to work? I’ve seen advanced edit options for many things, and I think this would add to it. For example, not all the Void Dragons were evil (we have a couple as a mount). We also have the Netherwing now part of the world (FINALLY) and I would love to have nether options.

Maybe a Dracthyr and a Dragon fell in love, and their child was a Dracthyr that took on the traits of the dragon but was still a Dracthyr? I mean, we can make Infinite Dracthyr, which is cool, but still I think more options could be great. Really, the secondary coloring is too limited. I would love to have more options that the game uses, with the same strong/medium/weak strength adjustments, or an advanced version.

I love playing as Dracthyr, at least on my Evokers, and I am ready for future race changes (already purchased) for other classes. I would like more color options though.

Which equals one hundred and sixty-five options.

It is truly never enough.

No.

Dracthyr are sexless/genderless meaning they do not have the biological parts to either impregnate or be impregnated so they cannot have children.

I see this a lot on the forums but there’s a waterfall in Thaldrazsus with a rare hippo at bottom that is flagged as humanoid, and if you look at that spot, there are some Dracthyr children playing in the water and on the shore.

You have no evidence to support this. Blizzard wouldn’t create a race in the game that doesn’t have a way to create more. The non-evoker will not be starting in the Forbidden Reach, so this means they came from somewhere and likely are younger and new Dracthyr that want to follow their own path.

And I’d like some solid colors. Maybe I want a dark purple secondary color with a nearly black primary.

A dragon I’d like to have has grey scales with orange markings, orange horns, and a red underside. The primary grey is more brown, there is an almost orange underside, but no red, and the horns can go a bright yellow or dark red. I currently cannot do any of this. Another I’d like has a yellow primary with green secondary. Green is not an option.

I mean

Forsaken currently have no way to make more of themselves. And the Worgen curse doesn’t pass to their children so unless they start biting people, they also won’t be making more of themselves.

This is only temporarily true. They can be raised by the light, so this is coming with Calia Menethil. In the coming expansion, Midnight, that seems to be a very light vs void themed expansion. I feel that we could see more paladins & priests, and maybe even other races having void options (which is weird it’s only high elves currently), to fight the come battles. So this option can come, but there is still Necromancy. Not sure how far you’ve gone into TWW campaign. And we do know that the Forsaken were able to break free on their own, and they were originally raised by a form of Necromancy.

I can’t find the quote, but I think it was part of the Forsaken heritage questline and I forget who the person was, but Calia and another were asking about raising the dead. Regardless of method (light or necromancy), it is still dealing in death or death magic? I can’t remember the terms, but necromancy still exists.

I mean, we could even say the new undead came from Maldraxxus but not sure if there are rules against people leaving the Shadowlands to serve in life as undead.

There are still currently wild Worgen and I still find it odd that only humans (but not Kultiran) can get the curse.

Edit: Oh and the Blazing Drake (rare mount from Dragon Soul) is orange, so no reason why we can’t have orange as a primary color.
