Welp, there goes my hopes of playing Frost as anything other than BoS. Kind of lame tbh. Means I’m stuck one tricking UH again. Great for those who enjoy BoS, it makes the rotation a lot more fluid,

Obliteration is looking like an option on the beta. Remember they are buffing obliterate, Frost strike and Rime damage. There are also covenants and soulbinds that buff it further.
Although long breath BOS may be the max possible dps in raid, it might not be doable as there are lots of mechanics in the new raid that force you to move off the target. It isn’t Nighthold.
It’s possible BOS may just be the play on a few fights and in M+ (assuming tank can chain mobs)
I’m hoping they look at our tier 50 talents in the next pass as there are obvious issues.

Obliterate has a 15% increased chance to trigger Rime and Howling Blast generates 34172 Runic Power while Rime is active.

This sounds great. I don’t get the BoS hate. I find it so much more satisfying and engaging then icecap. EXCEPT for the few times you blow BoS and then are immediately screwed over by some fight mechanic. But imo that just requires further planning to prevent.
Also the changes in shadowlands obviously seem to be making breath windows much longer and easier to maintain, meaning less stress and frustration due to mechanics

thats probably because when you pop BoS you have to tunnel the boss so hard that if you get targeted by any mechanics during bos window your dps is dead.
