I couldn’t find any information, but will there be new delve trinkets in season 2? Most of the ones from season 1, even at similar iLevels, couldn’t compete with dungeon/ raid trinkets.
I doubt they are intended to do so. Although that candle confidant, I thought, was actually decent for some specs?
Candle confidant, ritual knife, and the 2 on use candles are all VERY competitive at equal ilvl. That’s 4 good ones.

Camdle confidant is cute af, too. They all have their own little names.
Yes there will be some new Delve trinkets to match the goblinification of the world.
They aren’t competitive because they don’t go past mid-heroic aka outclassed by mythic raid/crafted.
There is one delve mace that I think pushes above its weight but even a mid-levelled mythic stat-stick will beat it.
I’ve been rockin 2x Delve trinkets for the entire season, then today i get Spymaster’s Web

Yeah the preponderance of stupid trinkets is really annoying. My rogue has like multiple of every one, and still hasn’t gotten a single weapon. Edit: from the vault I mean.
I am so glad crafted weapon is a thing lol.

This is what I used at the start of S1, helped me get started.
I’m pretty sure they are removing most of the S1 trinkets and adding new S2 trinkets. The only duplicate I remember seeing on the PTR was the Confidant.
It’s worth figuring out. Crafting is kinda the meta for delvers because crafted gear is stronger than anything we get from drops. Next season, if you have upgraded hero tier/trinkets and myth crafted everything else, you’d end up with a final ilvl around 671 (Myth 4ish).

Huh… interesting.
During S1 I always wondered how they would handle trinket acquisition from delves going forward since trinkets from M+/raiding come from those 8 dungeons/raid for the current season but this doesn’t sound so bad.
I’m interested in seeing how they tune them. I still can’t decide if making some of the delve trinkets slightly OP for their lvl was a design choice or if they just forgot to tune them because they aren’t available in Myth track.
March 4 is still like 2 weeks away, and what is there to do when the patch goes live with no season
Delve season 1 trinkets were very very good.
So why even do delves? I’m not trying to be a jerk or anything, just curious
the candle was good for single target for some classes but like most trinkets was useless anytime aoe was needed
You need to do delves for the hero pieces to run through the catalyst for tier as well as trinkets. More importantly, you run them to get the crests needed to craft the highest level gear.
