New damage nerf feels better

Just wanted to give my feedback to blizzard. This new PvP damage nerf feels decent. 50% was obviously way too much especially without healing nerf. But 20% damage nerf on melee along with the healing nerf feels pretty ok. I wouldn’t mind it if you kept it like this. Shamans are still OP but whatever. This is the best PvP has felt so far.

I would say Melee DPS by 30% also (like the spell damage), but yes, this is definitely the best its been.

Blanket muffling damage and heals is not the answer nor should we accept it.

yea im tired of seeing people say this lazy approach to fixing burst damage is the answer. Spend a little more time fine tuning the spells that need tuning rather than turning a couple of dials. Make pvp fun again. Its not fun to see one set of numbers popping up while pve and a heavily nerfed set of numbers pop up when doing pvp. Yes the pvp damage reduction in place right now has done something to soften the burst, but people actually saying “good job!” have obviously not considered that there is other and much better solutions.

It is the lowest cost and easiest solution to make it acceptable though. Really they screwed SoD with terrible rune decisions from the get go, that cats already out of the bag though and they’d probably do even more harm attempting to put it back in.

I do agree in the sense that I hate pvp specific tuning.

It feels bad and is straight up lazy is all it feels and is. But i get it, shills, small indie company, etc.

Seems decent to me as well.

The current DR is only good in BGs/BM. Without the 30% hp buff players are still too squishy.

Is it active? I still have been taking over 4k damage in one global from geared shamans in BGs all day. Spriests and boomie dots are still annoyingly hard hitting too.

idk man my boomie dots hit for like 120-160 never see them crit, spriests like 250-300 and crit for like 700

bring back the damage nerf, pvp feels terrible again :frowning:
