New Dalaran idea

yes, I could. I would change the portals in the portal room to go into a zone instead of into the city the same way we had with Legion. The portal actually took us out into the zone instead of using our stone to get back to the city. unfortunately, most people lack the imagination to understand how to make it work and they are simply rooted in what has always been without the possibility of change.

City gone, add that to list of fallen human kingdom, it sad, I mostly Like Dalaran was idea City/fortress but now seen what happen… We lost that and Kin’tor no longer want to act like Agents or guardiens of world… I mean… What we just let Wanders stumble into place or just wait for writer set up quest to lead us and then deal with little world issue, While main threat Go over us.

Yeah… this is morden wow.

It was build by some of the most powerful mages in the world yet was so easy to take out … /smh

Divided it will probably be even easier to take them all out.

Guess the only magic organisation left are the Magisters of Silvermoon.

Then you would never get it cuz such things now days are gatekept by the WoW streaming community. Not one of them, or one of their friends, you aren’t getting something like that.

Pull it back through a time portal void rift , upside down and have Earnest Borgnine flip it back over and fill it with the campiest characters ( like Gilligans Island or something ) and make the wow writers completely sick of it with quests like delivering stuffed animals to Ogrimmar.

It was like they were ashamed of it or something and it was like my favorite city.

Blizzard could rewrite it so that they decide to rebuild it anyway.

It would be quite stupid not to rebuild it, and thus out of character for every mage.

Blinking lets the statues get you.

Looks at the Gallagio treasures…

Looks at the Orc and Forsaken treasures… Yeah sorry but Gallywix was the treasure hoarder, come on you’re a Goblin you should know that, especially seeing it on full display in Undermine.

And how do you think we get our treasure? Taking it from other chumps, duh!

COMMOM WOW WRITERS L

Well, to be fair, they had been rawhiding the city around Azeroth like a souped-up GTO, which was not a mode of operation in the original construction spec. It was probably going to come unglued sooner or later.

Not true, you, the player, actually facilitated the destruction when you took the quest from Xal’ and destroyed the wards protecting the city.

We actually know it could of held up well if you remember the whole Dalaran moving in Legion thing. The place was being shot up by 4 spaceships and came out without a scratch.

However, Xal’ tricked you, Khadgar, Alleria and everyone else.

Now Xal’ is getting her way, again, by seeing the disbanding the Kirin Tor like they were the Avengers & Dalaran, a place of learning for all mages is to never be made again.

dont think thats a good idea…
considering the brotherhood is umm… hmmm…

I don’t think they want to rebuild dalaran like it was. I do think at some point they will go back to the crater in hillsbrad and rebuild there.

That crater is definitely going to give them sewage and drainage issues.

You’d also have to rewrite all the quests and move all the needed NPCs and items. That’s a whole lot of extra work you want the devs to do instead of doing what they’ve done for over 20 years - treating expansion zones as if they still exist within their own time.

There’s one possibility – publicly, deny that there’s a secret mage headquarters anywhere, you’ve given that up as a bad idea.

But privately, you reoccupy Karazhan, and turn that into you new secret mage headquarters.

I may need to replay the Kirin Tor epilogue.

I thought the idea was to rebuild slowly and less extravagantly to have a home/base for their activities without putting a giant target on their backs.

So, no Violet Citadel, no floating city, no hoarding all the world’s knowledge and magical artifacts, and no prison full of the most dangerous monsters in the universe.

I was just expecting to find a nice little village in a couple expansions time. Maybe build on the original Dalaran site for nostalgia. Put a nice tavern there and let Khadgar be the bartender.

Or we could just add portals to Dalaran back to the Legion zone and to Northrend and put the quest givers in the new Dalaran. Again, solutions.

Doesn’t insurance cover this? The mages have magic. Why do I have to help them rebuild? Are robes not conducive to construction jobs? What do I get out of it?
