Void elves are Thalassians (blood elves / high elves), there is no war, just requests for customizations.
While this sounds more like a fair trade and I’d totally play one, I don’t think that would ever stop the threads that come from the whole High Elf/Blood Elf thing they mentioned because Alliance players have been on about it since we first got Blood Elves on Horde side and that was a long, long, long time ago.
Actually case and point, they seem to have to always interject themselves into every thread in one way or another this one is a prime example of that due to the fourth post and since then. Lol.
Their after their third pass after receiving an impactful second visual theme.
Yeah well, others might not just say it like this but Void Elves should take a backseat to other races for awhile because many other races need more customizations, new stuff, etc. and not just Void Elves.
No other race has benefitted from adjacency to others the way VEs seem to get updated because BEs got updated then again just now because apparently letting NB have the spotlight was too much, NB didn’t get updated when NEs got options, BEs got lackluster options and lost all visual uniqueness but VEs got pushed into time blizzard said was for core races, then when it was NBs time to shine they benefitted again somehow.
Vulpera need hair, Pandaren need faction based accessories, BEs have neither a second visual theme or unique options like Farstrider tattoos, Worgen need tails, Forsaken need upright posture.
I feel like night elves are missing highborne options. The skin tone and softer long hairstyles. Purple eye color.
Yes,
they also need highborne hairstyles and jewelry.
What are Highborne options? Brann said that Highborne and regular Night Elves are the exact same, but MAYBE they were pastier.
Personally I’d like to not see another Horde races visual theme be gifted to the Alliance and the Nightborne preserved Highborne culture.
The Shendrelar were what 6 elves living in a cave in filth fallen from the glory days of their culture? Them integrating with NEs and teaching NEs to be mages doesn’t reintroduce the Highborne as an aspect of their culture their just integrated with NEs.
I’d like to see NEs get more unique options for their main theme, and unlocking restrictions on jewelry and tattoos that already exist for them would help, for example guys can’t access the jewelry they added and there is body tattoos the women can’t access.
I only add what seemed somewhat lacking here.
Some good choices so far.
For all player races
- More face options and hair styles.
- Scars for all of them.
- Blind eye option (on one or both eyes).
- The options available for each race have to be equal for everyone.
- More WC3 themes options.
- Could need the thin Kulthiran option.
- Jewelry
Gnomes:
- More face options.
- New hair styles.
- “Tinker” options.
- More jewelry.
Mechagnomes:
- More robotic options
- The option to make only one leg / arm etc. robotic and not both.
- Cyberpunk accessories
Dwarves:
- More faces
- More hair styles
- More clan signs, Wildhammer + Bronzebeard
- More jewelry, gemstones, griffon inspired themes etc.
Yes all of those, especially the green skin. Revantusk need their representation as player customization option.
The Troll males posture needs to be fixed too. Belts and weapons vanish in to their legs and bellies.
- Green skin.
- Fix the male posture.
- Larger tusk options for females.
- Broken tusk options for every tusk.
- Ear options, especially larger ones for females.
- More war paints / loa war paints.
- All war paints for females too. Update the old ones.
- More jewelry and more colors for those options (shrunken heads, trophies, voodoo dolls would be cool too).
- Straight back option.
- Tauren could need Taunka as an option.
- More faces (a lot more). A more WC3 looking face too.
- More jewelry.
- Spirit walker customization (blue / withe-ish fur, blue eyes etc.).
Forsaken:
- Straight back option
- Stitch options.
- A face option without jaw for females too.
- Especially yellow eyes.
- Blue tattoos like the ones from MoP + loa tattoos.
- More distinctive faces.
- Less Night Elf faces for males.
- A stronger neck musculature.
- Larger heel toe for males.
- More hair styles.
- More jewelry.
Goblins:
- More faces
- More hair styles
- More tech options
- More jewelry and bling
- More colors
Pandaren:
- More face options.
- More hair styles.
- Little panda (the long one) tail for males too.
- More jewelry, perhaps even different options for each faction.
If the shendrelar were meant to be elegant or push the Highborne theme the way Nightborne do the times we’ve seen them in game or the novels that would be the case but it isn’t. They’re humbled and them integrating into NE society isn’t NE society reintroducing the Highborne caste.
Light forbid Blizzard let me play my favorite race on both factions
I don’t think it’ll happen though, not even as a customization option for Draenei. The red skintone looks real good so it’s a shame
They are the same, essentially. It’s just a few specific things like silver jewelry and a brighter blue skintone kind of deal. Azshara has bright pink markings, so maybe that color for tattoos. Also some fancy hair styles would go a long way.
It’s still really weird to me that, that side always wants so much from this side and this side only wants something from that side here and there, lol.
I wouldn’t want NB to get NE options anymore than the other way around.
I would like to see stitching options for undead like the ones you see on Frankenstein. It can all over or certain parts of the body like arms, legs, and hands.
Do undead guys feet still stick out of shoes? I feel like that shouldn’t be or be an option somehow idk
I’m pretty much the same way now but I still hope Nightborne will get more improvements than they have, plus more of a variety of skintones, hair colors and eye colors.
Would love to see toe/foot jewelry for trolls, like a bone claw similar to the one Priestess Alun’za has https://www.wowhead.com/npc=129614/priestess-alunza as well as rings
They could definitely use beards for the males and more hairstyles overall, would love to see some dread styles & hairstyles with optional jewelry (dread beads, bones, loa fetishes)
Some grayed/dark skin tones would be nice since we have bold color options already (navy blue, grayed purple, green, etc) black hair & war paint would be great too
Really want them to add her golden tattoos for Zandalari as well.
