New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

you don’t know the lore elves of quelthalas clearly! religious fervor for light exists we even had a high priest member of the Convocation of Silvermoon and lady liadrin was a priestess with strong faith in light! the fel crystals were removed and exchanged for mana crystals, rommath also tells us that the addiction was cured! but you’re right there were some blood elves who thought that getting back to normal was a mistake! that giving up the use of dark powers was a mistake people who investigated even the dark magic of the greatest traitor in quelthalas history! Those people who did not want to go back to normal now are not part of Quelthalas society! rejoice you’re playing with the blood elves who decided to continue a cultural change and not return to normal

Callistus is a blood elf RP’er,he doesn’t actually play Horde side. Its why his necklace is level 9 and he still wears heirlooms.

But they are all High Elves AmIRite?

I mean, As a Blood Elf player as soon as I got to Silvermoon the snobby froufrou quests began. They are having a party right outside of Silvermoon.

Release date of The Burning Crusade: January 16, 2007

You mean Saltheril? He’s seen as a weirdo for having a party at the time.

but his party treats actually use to give nice buffs. :sparkling_heart:

Hyper, with all due respect, I’ve explained like a bazillion times why I despise it, and no, it is NOT because of sexism, either accept my actual reasons or ignore my opinion altogether and move on ffs. Stop trying to Gaslight me cause you won’t achieve it.

Also, NB little kids literally running all around Suramar gal, which quite graphically expose the fact not ALL of the NB are grandpas. The model IS awful by the mere fact it ignores the very lore and aesthetics of the actual race portrayed in the game.

Well I hope Blood Elves get more stuff, not just for your sake but for my own as well. I may post with a Void Elf and be a pro-helfer but I have multiple max-level Horde characters, several of which are Blood Elves. I want stuff for them too! Especially the Darkfallen aesthetic options. I’d use those red eyes in a heartbeat on my Blood Elf Death Knight!

Well to be fair I am pro BE too I think maybe that should be another community identification all together!

There are some pro alliance fans who are also pro BE, we just aren’t protective of the model it’s the lore I am protective of.

But then there is as time goes on seemingly many pro HE fans who do not like BEs and that is sad

What is funny is that you were correct the first time.

My post was about the sudden increase in demand for Dark Rangers due to perceived unfairness. When, instead it should have just been happening the entire time.

I do support Dark Rangers, I always have. When we were talking about High Elves before and people were asking what the Horde would get I submitted the Dark Fallen and Dark Rangers. I’ve always pushed for it.

Also, I’m a Blood Elf player, so this, “Anti-Blood-Elf” stuff is silly. I’m not against Blood Elves. But I may disagree with you.

So the actual categorization would be, “Player who disagrees with you.”

me! because the undead are not part of the blood elf theme! I preferred light!

Yeah, I’ve got three 120 Blood Elves. Who I have had since burning Crusade… and I’ve got three more coming up.

Also Nico I’m out of likes. Sorry friend.

Could everyone not use gaslight constantly? It’s bothersome to have gone through gaslighting in real life to see it used in this context.

Listen I extend grace, I let people grow, and I would be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, if every time someone made a snide remark against BE players you weren’t also the first like, and comment laughing it up agreeing with them, so your actions tell me I was right upon further looking at the situation, not my initial assessment of it.

And Reno got anxious just because I put Callistroll in his place, the irony.

You’re talking to the usual anti-Belf helfer that only perceives the negative events/aspects of the race and that tries to pass them as the only content in existence, while trying to Gaslight people in regards to his poorly concealed mocking attempts. Don’t waste your time.

Especially since the request for playable alliance high elves is clearly over now, I think it’s time we all dropped the titles. There is no sides to take anymore since both factions have High Elves in the only way they’re going to get them now.

It’s all good. I know not everyone has tons of max level characters like me, but I’d like to think most players at least dabble on the side that isn’t their main focus.

I feel like everyone has the right to request customization options they want and I can understand being underwhelmed when many of the options Blood Elves are getting is jewelry that will largely be hidden under armor if you don’t mog specifically for it, or just isn’t used at all because it doesn’t fit with many mog styles.

Things that feel like real customization options to me are things like, skin tones, hairstyles, hair colors, new faces, the face shape options humans are getting (I’d like to see every race get this), eye colors, scars, tattoos, etc. These are things that tend to stick out even when you’re armored (barring head to toe armor that just covers every inch of you).

The Darkfallen options just seem like such low hanging fruit and an easy win for Blizzard. It’s been requested consistently for years. The assets already exist. All that’s needed is for the female skin to have some undies added for modesty’s sake and bam, instant winner and many players are happy.

According to? This is headcanon on your part. “They had a cultural shift because they went through something traumatic.”
Let alone, not all traumatic events result in a drastic change in a people’s cultural identity. This is presumptuous of you on many levels.

No relevance whatsoever to them.

This is false as it is stated Liadrin was a follower of the light, as were many other blood elves including Priestess Aurora. Now you’re just making things up mate.

No one cares about the respect of a fictional race that has been stated to return to its roots. That’s all the justification needed was when lorthemar said “We preserve our ways.”.

considering the ages elves can reach, if at any point they had tats, whether runic or celtic, those would likely still be there, as tats are a pain to get rid of if you change your mind about them. thing is, they would not change their minds. the only reason i could see them wanting to be rid of them is if they created too many painful memories. but rememberance of your warrior past, will help in your warrior future, so i cant imagine a scenario where they would deliberately remove them. just some never got them, is my take on it. perfect candidate for a customization
