If that’s what you want then I don’t see a reason not to go for it. I just figured more Blood Elven symbolism and imagery like the Phoenix and Sun might make it feel more like Blood Elven customization than Lightforged. Then again, why not include both?

could have kael’thas orbs around their heads but in light yellow instead of fel green. also kael is gonna have blood red orbs for a bit in shadowlands. so light yellow would be the opposite of that also. i think all belfs should have kael’thas orb access, just in different colors, depending class or eye color. class makes the most sense, visually. so a light based class like pally, would have light yellow. a priest would have golden yellow. a mage would have purple. a warlock would have fel green. a warrior, forest green, perhaps. a rogue, shadowy, almost black. etc.
I suppose it could be both, I’m just saying because I think the naaru symbol is correct! void elves have void tentacles after all!
They’ve also got Void Naaru wings as part of their heritage armor. The Void manifests in many different ways, after all. Tentacles aren’t always a give-away sign of it. Take the Pale Orcs in Nagrand, or even the Shadowmoon Orcs.

It could be but as I say the symbol Naaru shows the connection with the light, I think that is correct for that reason
