Cause he had the decency of dying before being converted into the church of Human Potential (man I hated SO much when Nathanos was elevated to Sylvanas lover… before, I liked to assume she just respected him as her Boss and was ok with his talent. Nowadays idk… how much of that respect was actually about his talents outside of the sheets).
I hate the idea of another Windrunner. I kinda want to just nuke the whole clan from orbit.

If we have to suffer another Windrunner, I´d like the grandfather, I think? (I´m not sure if this is still canon, but I think the grandpa of the gals survived Arthas… will have to check).

Please, make him the voice of the anti-Windrunner / anti-Windrunner trope drama portion of the playerbase, we will take him with love and make him growth with care!!

Damn man, now i want this more. Or at least a chance to see Talanas in SL (now THAT would be interesting, considering the whole Sylvanas fiasco and all…).

Now I remember why Lirath makes me cringe. There’s someone on the wet forums who ships their OC with him or something.
Given the night elves’ history of warfare against the Horde I’d suggest against it.

I couldn’t agree with this more.
Sylvanas was among my few most favorite Wacraft 3 original characters, and I was glad to finally see her play her role in the spotlight briefly in early legion, then in BFA, then of course they decide to write her off the same way they do any interesting Horde character who dares not bend the knee to the Alliance…
I am an Orc player and will always be, but I liked Sylvanas as Warcheif, infact I thought she was the best Warchief since Lord of the Clans+Warcraft 3 Thrall. She got things done, by all means necessary, and the anti-hero aspect was one of her best traits.
Another expansion, another core Horde character destroyed… (or actually two in BFA, because RIP Saurfang).

I’ve loved Sylvanas since day 1 just for her look and overall bad b attitude, but this entire expac really made me dislike her. Obviously it’s not like it’s her fault, it’s what the writers decided she would do/say, but at the end of the day that’s her now, regardless of if we think it was bad writing or not.
After she burned Teldrassil she lost any love or sympathy I had for her

Garrosh was also quite hated towards the end, but here we are reminiscing the days he ruled. Who’s to say that once we’ve seen how the new blue Horde ends up like, that we wouldn’t do the same for Sylvanas?
Also even if she was written off to betray the Horde like she did, I still like her as a character, and still think something very interesting might come out of her character arc during Shadowlands.

Garrosh was okay in the first period of his rule because he ultimately had good intentions but was put in an extremely difficult situation economically, diplomatically and militarily.
Sylvanas essentially chose to go full heel mode from day 1.
