I think if it’s lore appropriate it makes sense. Like if you say, “I haven’t seen a vine in Suramar I think vines are a Night Elf cultural thing.” Then the comment makes sense.
But if it’s something the faction/culture already has then a demand that it not be allowed to players doesn’t make any sense.
To the previous comment, you purposely or accidentally misunderstood me for two days and continued to argue with me about a viewpoint I never had.
To the latter, I’m just trying to work in the framework provided. Not wanting other people to get what they want is apparently an important part of the discussion and the morals and ethics behind those opinions are apparently beyond scrutiny.
i also agree but at the end of the day, who cares? I have advocated for BE Haircolor and Styles to go to VE’s.
The first time i ever posted here, i was accused of being an “alt” when it was in fact my first time posting. My point being, who cares what they have to say? Who cares that they attack me and tell me to roll Horde because i want to look like a high elf. Their opinions mean nothing to me, i’m not going to spend my time going back and forth about it, it’s pointless.
I understand that lore could explain identical looks, but the problems is stems from gameplay, because the playable character model is what you see infront of you pretty much for the entirety of the experience, and having a unique aesthetic look is a huge part of that, maybe even the most prominent aspect really.
So this internet argument has been going hard and strong for over two years…
And we are just stuck in a weird position of waiting for the skin colors / eye colors to materialize and I think things will cool down after that reality sinks in.
But the hatfields and Mccoys have been going for awhile and I don’t see it stopping for a minute.
You’re very nice. Thanks for commenting so positively about people’s mogs.
My history of arguing with you specifically, and at least I don’t hide mine. You could have just left it at “pardon me” instead of continuing on with your unwarranted smug behavior.
Cut it out please.
but then it’s only fair that Nightborne get some expanded skin color options and maybe hair color options.
We’ve got Night Elf tattoos. We’ve got vines. They’ve got their purple Egyptian outfits. We will know the difference.
I mean, I don’t know that they should get green hair. But the blues and all that would make sense… and I’m honestly just not into gatekeeping racial skin colors.
A pinkish Nightborne isn’t gonna blow the world up. It’s harmless.
I was also told something along the lines of “if you think we’re going to let this circle jerk continue without opposition then you need to get over it” as if i gave a rats behind if there’s opposition. If people want to oppose positive and good things coming for a race, then let them! Water off of a ducks back!
So i get it, the whole being attacked and scorned but i could care less, let them try and ruin our “circle jerk”. You’re very sweet as well and i adore your mog too in case i haven’t said it!
I think it’s great what they have gotten so far tho. If we don’t see the literal Highborne jewelry then I’d say that because the arcane side is a night borne thing.
