This is pretty disingenuous asking someone to dig stuff up thatâs five years old. Especially when you can Google it yourself.
Here is part of what started it way back in 2014 along with someone harassing a popular artist for having a brown elf in their art.
To counter this attitude a bunch of people demanded darker skins on Blood Elves and started making dark characters and flooding the internet with art of brown skinned Blood Elves. You can find a few remnants of this on Twitter if you search back far enough, but people delete Twitter accounts and Tumblr accounts. There were posts on the old bahleeted forums, too.

I actively cannot comprehend how you think the concrete fact that you are being showered with customization options as opposed to the only confirmed âhigh elfâ options for void elves being blue eyes and regular skin tones, means youâre losing this âraceâ.
Sorry, showing that you believe we âhave enoughâ, when the biggest point of contention missing is lore connection obviously shows you didnât know what we actually wanted with the request, itâs like point 1, I donât need to be the voice of the people to know that.
And yet I have multiple posts that have advocated for lore being the easiest thing to add. So youâre apparently ignoring my posts and picking out the ones that donât fit this hive mind mentality youâd prefer I subscribed to instead.
You have enough for now. Thereâs no reason to push in front of BEs anymore during core race customization. And Iâve been also vocal about hoping Blizzard does go back to them because they are a core race. Thatâs not to say I donât support more down the line.

Exactly, itâs five years old. Thatâs the point. It wasnât a recurring request, it wasnât something that people asked after Shadowlands was announced. It was a forgotten request from five years ago.
(Oh, and blood elves got the dark skins, so whatâs the complain again?
Back in WoD no race got more options. Itâs not like it was just the blood elves left out)

Funny thing is the two are mutually exclusive, I donât know how you thinking about âhigh elves have enoughâ is the same as âIâm gonna ask for more blood elf customizationâ.
You can literally do both without them trampling on each other, we can keep asking for high elf customization, I donât know why you think you canât ask for your own instead of attempting to stop others from getting Theres.

Because I am using my voice to for Blizzard to see people do notice the lackluster BE customizations yet they made the time for VEs and I want them to do a good job for core races like they promised.

Itâs not enough to request Dark Rangers in a thread about High Elves.
Obviously this thread is different. But if the request is being made in a topic about something else itâs going to be glossed over.
Particularly if it is happening in a noisy venue.
Isnât it time to get over whatâs past and done?
Why are you dredging up things that are not relevant now?

This thread is about Blood Elf customization also. And iirc all you said before about Dark Rangers was in fact saying itâs not a valid request? Or was that someone else who said that?

He was insisting that Blood Elves have never asked for anything but blue eyes. An example was given with brown skin and he didnât believe it and wanted proof. Now he thinks itâs complaining.

present thread excluded. That being said, this still isnât a thread about Dark Rangers becoming playable and the couple hundred posts about Dark Rangers currently in a thread that is 12,000 posts long also isnât really conducive for a strong request.
As far as the Dark Ranger requestâŚ

and second, I was referring to the disingenuous and half hearted request that was for more Blood Elf themes without specifically mentioning what those themes might be.
In fact, Iâm the one who recommended such a thing to those posters.

And how theyâre putting aside the void aesthetic for the high elf aesthetic, at this point, void elf is a name only
