There’s just no reason not to give Blood Elves both though. The assets already exist. I can’t fathom why they wouldn’t just flag them both as available to players.
yeah if trolls get sand/forest/etc troll customizations and humans get african/asian customizations, and dwarves get wildhammer and whatever else customizations, chances are every core race will get race adjacent customizations, like other thalassians - such as dark rangers, high elves and san’layn for belfs.
It’s theme in this way:
The theme of Blood Elves is standard elf.
The theme of Void Elves right now is Voidy elf. Blue = Void doesn’t make much sense to me tbh, but that’s the way Blizzard did it.
With the new options, Void Elves also get access to the standard elf theme (with just a dash of Void when EE procs), while Blood Elves still only have standard elf.

i’m still really curious what the naga druid form references were in that datamined text from a week ago. would naga be nelf adjacent or nightborne adjacent?

Naga are a common placeholder in script, there was a big stir when everyone thought we were getting ice trolls but it turned out to be a placeholder in the code.

well i suppose. haha. i mean technically they are both adjacent but which would get them if they’re gettable?
But void elves still have voidy hair too, and no lore yet to state the reason for the skins. It’s pretty much we are close to void elves like Alleria, minus regular hair options and tattoos. There are no lore or looks allowing us to look fully like a standard elf.

Does my hair really look that Voidy though? I’d say it’s more a small number of non-Void hair options than not having any.
The theme being discussed isn’t lore. It’s visual.

Sorry for my ignorance but what customization would need to take place for the “Dark Ranger” look? Red eyes and is there a skin color not currently available?
I’m down for more customization for BE’s even as a semi Pro-Helfer (ie: someone who never thought we’d get them but is stoked about the new customizations for VE’s).
Other than jewelry for both sexes and new hair styles, what else do you BE"s want? I’m down for it! More customization = happy players.
