Don’t get me started… blizz has a lot to make penance for with the night elf community. The burn scars are almost too much

Blizz better give me Nelf Paladins… I might find room for forgiveness then.

Yeah, I can see why some would be salty, but maybe your character was a veteran of Mt Hyjal when Ragnaros attacked. Just an option to think about.

OMG, that´s actually AMAZING!!!

And no, not because “muh hurde!!”, but because this is a gameplay reflection of a very important piece of current lore (Teldrassil) or old lore (Cataclysm). For the Nelf players that don´t like it, simple, they don´t have to use it, period.

Man, Now I double want those scars for my Belves. Much better than making available for all clases the already existing undead skin tones of the Death Knights, putting a “Dark Ranger” title over it and calling it a day imho. Now THIS (a freaking scar with so much detail one can identify it as a burn) IS some very concious work artwise.

Blizz please ditch the useless jewerly… I rather get something along THESE lines.

Actually, according to an in-game conversation with Dark Ranger Velonara, most Dark Rangers remained loyal to the Horde. So it’s not really a blow at all. There’s literally no reason not to implement Dark Ranger options.

Hoping Pandas get some more ferocious looking faces. They suffer from same face syndrome and all of their faces are too jolly. They need some more ferocious/fierce looking faces like you see in their artwork.

WoD´s Orc narrative would love to have a word with you -yes, you indeed read that-.

Any Orc fan remember the “optimism” following SoO just to get clobbered with the villain bat almost as soon at it finished? Cause I ´member.

Sylvanas as the iconic Dark Ranger figure getting clobbered with the “idiotic cartoonish” villain bat kinda DO negatively impact the Dar kRanger´s image (I mean, are we 100% certain Velonara is no “loyalist playing tricks”?); and this kinda gives potential for further villain batting to the Horde.

I know some players wanting to RP the DR see the group as this iconic “heroic” thing, but after BfA I frankly don´t get see anything heroic when I see a DR. I just see the devs destroying Sylvanas characterization and messing up anything related to her.

I’ve like… half-heartedly argued against Gilgoblins because there are like four people who want to play a Gilgoblin. But I still hope those dudes get what they want too. I’m not against them existing. But making them an Allied Race would be like making Mechagnomes an Allied Race…

They actually could actually be one of the most popular races if done right. See a few examples of my model edits:

There is elements of this that can exist on them without breaking lore. The key is to understand the kind of potential they have as an allied race. Most people just look at their Cata models and think"just a lazy reskin race". There is however potential to make these look amazing to the extent they could easily be one of the most popular allied races.

Popularity isn’t a factor in this. Just because something is niche doesn’t make it a bad thing.

But it could have just been a customization and how many man-hours did that take?

I see this “it should have just been customization comment too much”. It is better if blizzard can just add more races and make them fully equipped as an allied race.
