New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

Cute.

I just got done explaining why it does.

How about you explain what you think my argument was to me so we can discuss it?

Because you’ve misinterpreted my argument and are arguing with me over your misinterpretation of it.

Did you just ignore my post entirely?

Yeah. Back to step 1.

It has nothing to do with my argument. So it isn’t an explanation of what your position on my argument is.

So I still need you to explain what it is you think that I said so I can respond to you?

I see no need to repeat my argument when it’s merely a few posts above.

That post has nothing to do with my argument.

Except it does, I suggest taking a moment to actually read it instead of ignoring it entirely when it’s clear as day.

Let me try and get you to grasp my argument:

Let’s say you’re a person that wants playable Dark Rangers…

and Blizzard announces customization options being added to Blood Elves and Void Elves.

Do you:

A: Request Dark Ranger skins for Blood Elves

OR

B: Complain about Alliance customizations?

Which is what our lovely friend Balesong did. Which is what I was hoping for when this whole customization stuff was announced. When the very first Belf Datamines occurred and I saw Dark Ranger stuff was flagged as NPC only, I asked.

No. It’s been “Void Elves now have two themes, normal elf and Voidy elf, while Blood Elves only have normal elf. Can the Blood Elves get another theme to make it even?”

A lot of people who want them have been asking for dark ranger skins for a while, and Reno is one of them.

Alright. Good. So you’re following so far.

So let’s get to my argument.

Let’s say you’re a person who doesn’t care about Dark Ranger Skins at all. In fact, you only really care about Alliance not getting playable High Elves;

and Blizzard announces customization options being added to Blood Elves and Void Elves.

Do you:

A: Request Dark Ranger skins for Blood Elves

OR

B: Complain about Alliance customizations?

Then why did they pull out the fainting couch when I mentioned Dark Rangers or Felblood Elves?

Yeah. I’m one of them too.

I choose this option as more options are better for all.

Yeah and the issue is that they chose B.

and that’s my argument.

Why is your question an either or.

The complaint from BE players who want Dark Ranger skins primarily revolves around simply VEs being an AR and feeling that they an AR got their second asked for theme before BEs a core race got a second distinct theme. And the fact Blizzard said ARs come later, and this is core race customization period, adds to that sentiment of, unhappiness.

Had Blizzard announced Dark Ranger skins first or at the same time or by now, I think it would see a lot less of comparing VEs second theme to BEs lack of one.

And even Dark Ranger theme fans that compare the unequal themes between the two aren’t necessarily complaining just pointing out we want ours too.

Who chose B?

You asked me specifically, no one else.

C: Be completely unsurprised at how this was handled, and look forward to Void Elves asking for more and more to inch closer to the High Elf they will never be despite other Allied races desperately needing attention first.

I can’t say I miss this.

Some of them were reacting to some posters pushing “corrupted” themes onto Blood Elves to try and show them as “inferior” in some way to High Elves. They overreacted by assuming everyone who asked for undead or felblood themes must be said “corruption pushers”.
