Dark Rangers are fine for Blood Elf customizations.
Obviously it’s got flaws.
But Void Elf - High Elves have flaws.
This is how they chose to fix it.
It’s a band-aid on a wound that needs dressings and gauze. That’s life.

Given that this expansion is about increasing player capacity for options I don’t think its terribly far fetched to get this customization either. It is a popular one.

Wayfarer lore may never be confirmed either it may be left open to interpretation I hope this is not the case of course, but to say “Blizzard needs to show Quel’Thalas accepting the DR’s etc etc” it’s just not going to happen, they already have enough citation to implement the customization should they choose, and we’re going off that and being happy.
Maybe something related at this July 8 thing? Though idk that feels more geared to the players wanting more info on non customization stuff, but I honestly have no thoughts on it.

If they do add them as a customization option for Blood Elves, I’d hope they would at least add their unique grunts on to them if you choose the option.

Dark Rangers can be a genuine request, after all, I’ve genuinely requested them…
and in this thread with people who don’t actually give a crap complaining about it… it can also be non-genuine from those people.

I didn’t say they needed to give them unique voices. There’s a toy where you can turn into one, and at least some of their grunts have a different voice than the standard Blood Elves.
Seeing as it’s already there, I don’t see why they couldn’t do at least that much.

That makes sense, I guess I’m just saying it’s less of an issue for me. Especially much of the DR request is just getting ahold of the confirmation / implementation of the request. The VE compromise, HE fans can have asks for a long time to come now, with different ideas and tweaks pushing forward. For BE fans of DR things we don’t even have that, we’re not even at the place where we can feel like we got our thing and can ask about these small things later if it bothers us. I hope that makes sense.
Not. I don’t know why you think you were the only person to remotely suggest asking for Dark Rangers but I assure you they were being asked for well before you claimed for upcoming customizations.

There was an article awhile back where they were talking about Void Elves trying to find a way to add new Void Elves to their ranks.
But, I feel like from a customization perspective this is trying to just give High Elves to the Alliance.
I don’t think they’ll ever talk about it. But Void Elves do need more lore, considering that there weren’t that many in Telogrus Rift when things went south and they’re a “Crack Squad.”

All I’m meaning is that if they go that route, that’s what I would like to see in terms of bare minimum effort to help differentiate them at least a small amount from the regular Blood Elves.
It’s not like I’m saying “if you don’t do this, don’t bother”. It’s just something I think would be nice.

I understand but from my POV I hope Blizzard doesn’t think it’s more trouble than it’s worth and I want them to know I’m fine if they do the rest later as in the initial customization would make a lot of fans of this relieved tbh at least we’d know we are getting it. Voice lines being a really small thing for example given the VE DK situation. Which btw they should ask for the DK Voice (I’m also unsure if any AR DK has a unique voice)
But I don’t disagree with you on it being a cool thing to have too.

There is that perspective, but on the flip side if you ask for too little you may be hamstringing yourself from getting more.
Now seems to be the time for trying to make larger demands, as they’re more likely to add things now during active development as opposed to in the future, when they don’t want to bother touching it again.
Case in point, Nightborne are woefully inadequate and there’s no sign we’re getting anything more for them anytime soon.
Sometimes it’s better to ask for more than the minimum you’d accept, so that when you’re given less it ends up being what you wanted in the first place.

Your argument is you think that it wasn’t a genuine request in this thread because you think there are those who only wanted these customizations as a response to Void Elves getting normal skin tones when that simply isn’t the case
