Then I suppose you’ll never be happy, because druids and shamans make zero sense for “real” High Elves.
play horde… bye
Read-only, and the ability to Like posts, same with the rest of the US forums. The EU forums of course do have their own Alpha feedback forums.
You know nothing. Google “Unofficial Void Elf Discussion”. The threads are gone with the old forums, but Google still shows them:
Check the dates: The first was made in Nov-13th 2017. There were mora than a dozen.
High elf discussion only began when void elves were released in Jan-30th 2018 and none of our suggestions was heard. The Alurna Manifest of High Elves was released in March 2018, was based on the first high elf thread, by Alurna, made in the prior month.
I’ve been here for all of it. Heck, the first thread was made by me!
And that’s nothing wrong with it at all. People liked the skins and want more things, as it’s perfectly reasonable. What’s not reasonable is your bitterness. You are acting just like you did for every single request we made for the last two years. If we had heard you, we’d not have the skins, so why should we care about your feelings on the matter?
Because you want to de void Void Elves.
One thing is what users want and another very different thing is whether or not we are right
I what if I do not understand many of you and more with the antiquity that this discussion leads if they do not feel respected that they continue doing in wow
Blizzard can be made another 10 years without paying attention to them, it is not a company that yields very easily
You should go tell that to Blood elf players who want druids then.
Or are Blood Elves not High Elves?
I don’t think that’s happening though. I already have two Void Elves, and one is going to be kept Void and another is going to be made more High Elf like.
I think, just like how the Blood Elves were freaking out about things, a lot of people are just acting like it’s the end of the world when it isn’t lol
it doesn’t make sense that we are druids the blood elfs
like the paladins in void elfs
people can ask but something else that makes sense
They could make perfect sense for them honestly. Shaman through their connection to the Wildhammer, and druid because some of them are returning more to nature anyway, such as the rangers of quel’danil. High elves/blood elves had a connection to nature anyway, how do you think they transformed Quel’thalas?
It makes sense that high elves might turn to night elves for instruction in nature magic should they want to distance themselves further from arcane. Plus it would distance them further from blood elves in the lore. An AR with their own model and class options distanced more from blood elves.
In that case your only option is to play a Blood Elf.
And nobody is forcing you to play a High Elf. But why force it onto others that they have to be Void Elves?
Look what I found: MMO-C had a copy of one of the old Void Elf threads (part 8) that a blue replied to! Guess who posted it?
WHat’s there? (Links are broken, except the images)
if we thalasian elves had not wanted to be druids we would not have left kalimdor
botanists who have appeared in the game are not druids they are arcane magicians, the same with those of suramar
Blood elves aren’t alliance high elves.
Honestly, I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I kind of think undead NEs should be a playable option on Horde at this point. They clearly exist and are still there as of the end of BFA, the epilogue quests still show them as present in the Forsaken and showing no sign of planning to leave.
Yeah, there’s not many of them, but there weren’t many Void Elves either, so…
I won’t comment on the story development that led to their existing as I know people have strong feelings about it, but fact is that they’re there. If they ever went the route of putting other undead races under the Forsaken umbrella I’m fully on board with them being an option.
That said, no clue if that’s in the cards or not.
Hunter is a good class. I have… 8 of them?
I like the spy angle ( I’ll have a high elf spy Horde side soon) but I’ve never enjoyed my rogues. Though you can make a convincing spy by going MM hunter and taking Camouflage.
8 hunters…
That… Is a neat idea actually.
Suppose that makes your velf easier to make a Sylvanas loyalist as well?
MM hunter is the only one I’d be if I made a hunter tbh, with the no pet choice lol or is it a choice? It could be just mandatory too idk I’ve never played it, but I don’t want a pet for my hunter and I think that’s MM / ranger esque.
And yes my priest is my former BE (loyalist). But I recently transferred my mage too (he was my first character and only character for years I on and off play SWTOR so once I see wow story I have traditionally just left) and he’s my High Elf wayfarer! And his story is being loyal to Alleria/,coming to study the void in the rift after knowledge of Allerias return. So I sort of like how I can still be loyal to a Windrunner sister even if not Sylvanas. But Alleria is no Queen so she definitely loses out in some of the pomp and circumstance department on why I love Sylvanas and her long list of titles and accolades.
Actually I’m deciding my fourth character rn it needs to be Horde though so the 2 and 2 count is even lol. Between a Zandalari Druid, and Vulpera Shaman I think. So what ever I choose there I doubt I’ll have much customizations to look forward to.
MM Has the option of not using a pet. You get a damage buff if you don’t use one.
You’re forgetting that in order to be a druid, you need to have a connection to the emerald dream. Certainly the blood elves/high elves may honor nature but they lack the deeper connection night elves possess.
