Light-practicioners that don’t go fanatic are pretty common.
Void-practicioners that stay sane were none until Alleria.
Huge difference.

Xe’ra was creepy.
And lore from back in 2006 stating Blood Elves don’t consider themselves High Elves.
Undead Shadow Priests are pretty sane, and Shadow Priests in general. I mean I half leveled shadow on my priest and I didn’t lose my marbles.
Regardless my point was that the Light is just as crazy as the Void was when it seemed like you were arguing the Light was okay vs. Void.
This is why fanfic writers need to be banned.
It’s been settled in the lore for 14 years though. Just because some people dedicated to the horde are trying to claim something doesn’t mean Blizzard should take away something from the opposite faction to please them. That’s pretty insane.
If Alliance players decided Horde shouldn’t have playable Ogres it doesn’t make sense to tear WoW down to appease that request.
Discuss with Blizzard, it’s their idea to make Alleria “the first mortal ever to master the Shadows”. Canonically, your shadow priest gets more insane the more it uses its powers, and needs to balance it very carefully to not go full psycho.
Your special resource is Insanity, for Light’s sake!
“Alleria Windrunner is the first mortal to succeed at defying the shadow’s whispers”

Go read up on Wildhammer. They’re significantly different than their Bronzebeard cousins and they are not ‘just’ dwarves with Tattoos. Let alone just blue ones.
We’ll have to wait for Shadowlands launch to get a better picture, but it indeed feels like the WoW curtain is closing… =/
It was fun though, let’s enjoy our last moments together.
Seems like it’s doing fine to me… it’s been on its last patch of an expansion for a few months… should get some people coming back for the pre-patch.
I still want to leave one last thought
We are talking about things as if there was still an alliance war, which does not exist, I think that the current factions do not represent any sense of the loyalty that they should have.
and I do not see any other faction war either, this is more open to one day it does not matter if you are horde or alliance, since these only exist because the opposite faction exists
If blizzard opened another faction war it would be very rejected since it no longer makes any sense, and if there is no silver convenant faction war and other mini factions that are created by the presence of the horde and alliance it would not make sense
the only elves who can’t go back are the void elves because of their clear threat to sunwell, the rest would not make sense to go to sunwell
So also to what is aimed at having a horde and alliance?
And yet here we are in 2020 still bickering over it. Cezol said Blood Elves are High Elves which is proof this Bickering will never end.
Cezol is a Worgen, Worgen are Alliance, so this means what?
If this ever occurred, I’d like to meet these people. Then again, it’s just their opinion.
It’s just a fancy name for Void Resource. It could be called Void Power and the same result would be achieved.
And that’s what really matters. Fun Memories and judging by the customisations coming, some people will be making them.
There’s no need of faction war for one faction to not trust the other. The Alliance and the Horde won’t just forget and forgive what happened, especially after Teldrassil. There may be diplomacy, but trust? Not within a few generations.
There shouldn’t even be a treaty until the horde answers for Teldrassil.
But here we are.
I understand the point, but see the current alliances of the standard bearers they have, many no longer fit into such alliances
and the only sense is that there is a horde alliance conflict which many of us would see as silly and repetitive
therefore alliance horde function no longer makes any sense
We all it’s gonna get swept under the rug.
It already has been.
Oh god that is terrible. Every now and then I discover forget something terrible about Void Elves and their implementation (like this). Hope i forget this again soon.
Frankly after what I read in Three Sisters, I call into question her sanity.
There’s probably going to be another faction war at some point. The seeds from it have already been planted at the end of BFA. It just might be a while off.
And all it will do is prove Sylvanas right and that whole breaking the cycle scene will be empty words as usual.
I bet it will be the fault of the Horde again.
Hope everyone is ready for WoW: Baineaclysm
