would be curious to see what that would look like, since it seems like these faces have some extra color textures around the eyes according to the color, and I want to see how it reacts with that face. Plus it looks like they changed the expression for that face as well.

No change (yet). At this stage the devs are updating old characters by batch, keeping the appearance close to what was originally. I think individual characters will be changed at later stages.
But you have a good point: it makes sense for Halduron to have blue eyes.

I actually just realized that the new blood elf beard is unique from the ren’dorei one. Our beard is a bit longer and bushier, I think.
Void elf beard has two “points” bellow the chin and is slightly longer.
Blood elf one has a rounder shape.
Yeah. I like this one a lot better, ngl. Glad to see Blood Elves are getting better beards, though.
Ahhhh!! <3 I’m so excited! I HOPE and PRAY that we get some Belf Hair and hair color options! My character is going to look so PRETTY as a High Elf especially with those alliance tabards/armor.

Still no word yet on Void Elves getting the normal Blood Elf hairstyles! Do not shaft us! Not doing so would be an even bigger insult!
They don’t necessarily need to give us Blood Elf hairstyles. Replacing tendrils with braids would be enough, right? Or even just a few natural colours would be good.

They could still get normal hair styles that are unique to them or even borrow from Night Elves or Humans. I feel like they’re going to get non-void hair. I might be a little optimistic but I feel like blizz wants to go all the way with it so the issue of the high elves are dealt with.

I’d rather that route, honestly. I’d give Void Elves Alliance haircuts, Horde haircuts for the Blood Elves, etc

They needn’t be exactly the same.
In fact subtley different hair tones would be just as good, like what they appear to have done with eyes (blue for Void and cyan for Blood). Maybe they could drain the colour, just a touch, to keep a hint of the Void aspect-- again in perhaps the way cyan is a hint to the green.
I’m not pushing for ‘absolute’ High Elves. I have a set of criteria that can be attained easily, and there’s no slippery slope here. At a certain point is may as well be a High Elf, and indeed it may well be properly if these new options represent High Elves joining the team full time.

That probably won’t be the end goal fully, but nothing wrong with asking, I suppose.
Oh, we will. It is confirmed with that status. Only thing missing is a Paladin, but rather give that to the Night Elves honestly, and we’re all set to have our Alliance High Elves.

I don’t think its realistic to expect any change in racials beyond the cosmetic, but there are signs that Entropic Embrace might end up being customizable. So assuming that ends up being true, and assuming some new hair color options are added, you should be able to pick one of the non-tentacle hair options, use a more ordinary hair color and be pretty much a High Elf without any void aesthetics disrupting your character concept.
I know many people want Blood Elf hairstyles as well but that might not be on the table or Blizzard might only share the Blood Elf hairstyles that Humans currently have access to as well. That doesn’t mean we couldn’t ask for some of the new hairstyles coming to other Alliance races though!
