As the title says.
Just wanted to share with you all how worthless my time was.
I’m truly impressed with how Blizzard has managed to make a game where working together, defeating something difficult and spending over an hour on something can net you absolutely nothing but a few mats you could care less about.
Gee, thanks guys. Thankfully tho? i have skyrim special edition modded with over 300 mods. And let me tell you lol it is more fun, it really is. I know I’ll get loot, I know I’ll get something for my effort every time. And i know it’ll feel good and there won’t be a single moment where I felt like my time was not met with some kind of meaningful reward or means of obtaining one.
With that said. Thanks for reading guys, and I’m pleased to say that I’ll be enjoying me some Skyrim That’s right. You leave WoW with a tight chest and just regretting having played.
Now, onward! onward to something worth playing! (I’ll still log on next week to see if I can get lucky with weapon after months of trying!)
You just reminded me that I still need to get around to updating my Skyrim mods. I’m thinking it might be easier to just wipe everything and do a clean install than try update them all one by one.
I’ll be ok with that. Classic is more about friendship, bonds, and growing together as a guild to accomplish something.
BFA is about IO checks, Ilvl’s, and achievements. Most won’t do that raid for the gear I’d imagine. But rather for actual “fun”. Getting gear will be a plus. I played classic and the gear isn’t as bad as some might think. There are only so many classes, and once a few have that wrist, you’re next in line. At least you know you’re going to get that wrist.
Along with many drops from ad’s that are distributed. it’s not as bad as you might think. It feels really good just knowing the boss will drop a series of items, and you may be next in line. You work together, and grow together. I like that.
And allot of the gear worth getting is actually out in the world, and dungeons in Classic, and through crafting which anyone can do.
One word… mods, any game that allows content to be altered like that is gauranteed years of extra replayability. Look at GTA for example, via FiveM there are LOADS of servers with very active communities all thanks to mods. If there was a way to prevent glitching/cheating with them you’d probably see them in games like WoW.
I’m okay with that too, but there are undoubtedly going to be many raid nights where you work hard and get nothing. That’s just raiding.
My friends will be playing/bonding with me and having fun on both versions. (I’m also sure there will be a classic version of IO too. You’ll get checked in both)
I just think that it’s strange that it’s a sin to miss out on loot in retail and a fun feature in Classic.
“I just think that it’s strange that it’s a sin to miss out on loot in retail and a fun feature in Classic.”
it is strange. I think it comes down to the way the 2 games are structured atm. There will undoubtedly be those who hate it, and those who love it. Can’t please everyone.
Classic is more of an RPG, Live is more of an action game imo.
Good post Gorrett.
True that. It’s also great that the modding community for Skyrim is alive, well, and actively developing new things all the time, and that Bethesda recently provided them with a more powerful engine with which to do it.
I’d love to see a similar kind of control over WoW’s gameplay experiences, though I understand there are a lot of problems associated with that.
So you did a world boss and got nothing? did you coin roll ? I did the above and still got nothing on my healer but I’m not salty about it cause there are other paths to getting gear.
