I don’t care about sexual orientation in a fictionalized fantasy universe. Not every thing has to be inclusive. It’s a game, not real life.

They are just pixels. I honestly do not care about homosexual elves. I care about parts of the real world where people are persecuted because of their sexuality. This… representation gimmick in video games does nothing to help real victims. It does nothing to heal the wounds of any real society. It is marketing plain and simple.

It’s not supposed to help victims, it’s a video game, it’s fiction, none of it is real.

Of course it’s marketing, Blizzard is a business, what else would they do other than try to make money?
