So sets are now three pieces instead of at least being six to cover the major elements of a character? I guess we’re all drachtyr now according to these "sets’, and the weapons that don’t even match the sets color and scheme wise.

Why just partial sets and not a full set per class?
I’m a big fan of these new incoming sets / weapon appearances but they honestly should match and they should be full sets.

has blizzard made any announcement to clarify if these sets are unfinished and will contain the full set of armor pieces or is it just staying at 3 pieces?
Why are there no pestulent pets, blobs, ichorous tentacled abominations? Hunter gear seems fixated on stupid Bird, that prob look okay on be3lf frames but look utterly trash on kul tiran, gnomes, vulpera. It is also fixated on canines, but lacks neck bulk from Wolf furs, totems and jinglinging, danging wards against maleficarum… seriously, its not a licence rip off if you spent 3 seconds looking at the Vlka Fenryka or Death Guard… the whole bird, orc dog brother, is so 2007 and no one thinks the hunter gear sets looks good… no wonder hunter’s have stealth, they have to hide their shame.

I really hope these sets stay on the Post for awhile and dont rotate in and out. Or are very affordable. I have a good amount of Currency stocked up, and can buy a few of these, but I dont want this to end up bing a FOMO cash grab with the shop.
The last thing I want is for each month that these sets release, a couple “New Packages” pop up on the blizzard store. Where it is a few pets, or a mount, or something, but each “Package” has a bunch of trader’s tender on it. To try to encourage players to buy packages off the store, to get more tender, to buy the sets, before they are gone for months, and have to wait till they pop up in a rotation.
I really, really hope this isnt going to end up as a cash grab.
It’s too bad WoW is in maintenance mode. Calling this a meal when it’s a 3 piece chicken din… oh it’s just 3 pieces of chicken…. Ahem. Anyway - calling this is a set is just not true. Oh!
Are they going to milk these “sets” and release a couple pieces per year/quarter/month until it actually becomes a “set”?
That’s some seriously crummy FOMO, if that’s the game they’re playing at.

We’ve had variable piece sets since Vanilla.
These are incomplete sets.
ROFL. How can you defend this? Also - variable set pieces since Vanilla is not true. We’ve had mixed pieces of gear all over the place - but they don’t fall in the transmog set collection. Judgement? That’s a full set. Shadowcraft? Full set.
What awesome class set! I am sure everyone is dying to resubscribe to get this magnificent design! Blizzard artists really have gone beyond my expectations and need to get a raise!

You’re defending it. It is not a set. The thing you linked is a set because it provides a bonus. This “cosmetic” that you can acquire has been dubiously labeled a class set. When has a class set been so lame? You accept this and we’re accepting even lower quality, lower bar work. So yes, you are defending it. Accepting it even.
We’re talking about different things apparently. You’re notion of a set, a class set that’s being discussed here, is broad into any collection of gear that can be joined. Hells, even a two ring bonus can be considered a set by your logic. It’s not. And certainly not a class set.
You’re here for the sake of arguing. I’m here to point out I expect a higher degree of quality and completeness for calling something a class set.

Why is hunter’s so terrible?
A couple interesting pieces, devs are looking lazy on this.

are these still unfinished and you’re planning to add chest, legs, hands, boots, bracers, cloak… or are you giving all classes the dracthyr treatment now?

I would not call these sets…its 3 pieces…a set includes hands…head…gloves…wrists…pants…chest…waist…boots…this has what shoulder…gloves and belt at most…

It’s perfect for tauren hunters. The picture doesn’t help, but we can see it’s like a eagle head (the helm piece), almost like that druid tier.
