I was thinking how I would like a new class in wow and I started talking to a Paladin today.
Then I started thinking about how the void (void elves) things playing in the void seemed to be theme in legion and BFA.
Then I thought about the end game content with an old god who seems merged with shadow and darkness.
Could a part of the future story then take a new bent focused on this theme.
For example: Isn’t the void the direct opposite of the light lore wise and aren’t both forces on equal terms regarding power?
Like different sides of the same coin?
So couldn’t say something in the void or something dark related (perhaps a trace of the old god after he was defeated?)
That decides it needs a new counter against the light.
So it ends up producing new zealots that become: Wait for it.
Shadow Paladins?
Could Shadow Paladins that use the void/or some form of darkness be a new class?
Just stopping by the say Hi.

Death Knights are undead warriors yes created by the lich king?
Which also asks the question does that mean all dk’s are now free since the Lich King is now destroyed?
I’m talking about paladins that are alive but use the shadow, like a shadow priest but for paladin?
Obviously Subtlety Rogues, they are the polar opposite of Paladins in every way possible. It’s even in both the classes names.
By the way a Shadow Paladin is just as a contradiction as an Honorable Trustworthy Rogue.
Everquest had shadow knights. I think they played like a blood knight, basically. But they could make them more in tune with the Void, thus giving the UD their undeserved “paladins.”
Undead warriors raised by the Lich King using powers that are in direct opposition. Where a Paladin uses the Light to mend and defend a Death Knight using the powers of Death to spread decay and destruction.
We’re literally each other’s Yin and Yang here.
