With a bow, Martial arts combat training, and wearing Leather…
Not really, okay, so an Arms Warrior is like your Medieval Knight. Heavily armoured in thick plate and wielding a 2h weapon, be it a sword, axe, hammer or spear. They hit hard and can take blow after blow because of the protection that they have.
The only similarity between a Samurai and a Knight is that they use 2h weapons.
A Samurai’s armour, by comparison, was very light. Samurai were quite nimble, able to strike cleanly and evade enemy attacks. If you gave a rogue a 2h weapon, they’d be closer to a Samurai than an Arms Warrior would be.
Blitzchung incident, Tencent and Netease ties, a yearly cash mount with the Chinese New Year animal, making accommodations for their version of the game, making an ENTIRE expansion themed after the Chinese influenced culture in 2012.
Hmm…
he’s just like that, not many of him anyway so that’s good
What is this final fantasy
The bloke broke the rules, got hit with a penalty, which even he admitted that he knew was coming. It was overly harsh because Blizzard Taiwan jumped the gun with a knee-jerk reaction. By the time Blizzard US got involved, outrage was already high, and Blizzard US toned down the punishment given out by Blizzard Taiwan.
None of which implies that China has ‘stronger ties’ at Blizzard.
A complete nothing-burger. In order for any foreign company to do business in China, they need a Chinese partner that handles all social media and publishing rights in China. Blizzard Entertainment works with Netease, with the strongest collaboration between them being Diablo Immortal (which is actually a pretty good game from what I’ve personally tested). Activision-Blizzard works with Tencent, but the stake that Tencent has in Activision-Blizzard is 5%, not even close to having a controlling interest.
Damn you’re really reaching with the nothing burgers. You realize that folks that live outside of China, with no ties to the Chinese Government also celebrate Chinese New Year right? Blizzard celebrates a ton of holidays in WoW, including Brewfest (which is themed after the German Oktoberfest, complete with its own mounts), Winterveil (themed after Christmas with its own mount), Hallows End (themed after Halloween with its own mount). I could go on.
Still not showing any stronger ties to China.
It was either that or not release the game in China, and the changes quite literally don’t affect us, so again, complete nothing burger.
The Pandaren and their culture have been a thing in the Warcraft universe since Warcraft III and it was originally heavily detailed in the Warcraft RPG.
If that’s all you’ve got, then you’ve literally proved nothing.
yawn… try harder
Well if I have to choose between threads to support like Worgen tails or Blef tattoo’s, I’m choosing Samurai!
Samuro!
So you have no more evidence? Yeah that’s what I thought.
Begone troll!
Might I suggest a Survival Hunter? Polearms or 2H swords, lighter (mail) armor, high mobility, and if you want to go full samurai archer, there’s always Marks waiting for you.
I’m still waiting on SV to get companion pet, stampede (provided we ever get glyphs back and maybe a cross spec talent tree), and maybe be able to dual wield polearms…
