New cinematic trailer just dropped

I also wanna add although I find the change weird, I still support my knaifu in her endeavors.

Women judge other women all the time, it’s just facts. At least I do. I know when someone is prettier then me, or I them. Like if you hangout with women less pretty then you, then odds are in a club you’re going to be the one getting hit on all night.

Yeah I’ve heard that before lmao

There is no change. She looks exactly the same as in the other cinematic. Just the shadows and collar move differently around her face.

Then I have lost respect for you.

Did y’all have this meltdown at GoT with Brienne of Tarth, too? This mentality is gross. I’m not engaging with it further.

Haha, that reminds me of the Family Guy cutaways…

“Men, we don’t know what we did!”

and

“Men, we know how to be friends!”

That’s got some heavy horde vibes there. Good cine.

Never watched a single game of thrones episode, and never will

We do not know if Vol’jin will return in TWW. And also Shadowhunters do not use the void they are empowered by the Loa.

I mean the change from how she looks in-game.

Not that I think she looks like a man or anything. Elves just have very pointy faces.

Haughty, angular features.

Well, elves do love triangles.

Ah… yeah. Even Faerine looks very different in game, as well. Models vs cinematics. I like her better in the cinematic, personally.

I think the cinematic captures the feel of her character better. In game she looks mostly like a regular human but with the other details.

I mean, based on the night elf in the vanilla cinematic, and the blood elf in the BC one, I guess she looks less “girly”. Those two looked almost cartoonishly girly. But Xal’atath just looks like a regular female with Western features, as far as I can tell.

It’s the lighting. Ingame, Xal’s face is a bit more elfin, narrower jaw and refined.

In this cine, the way the light hits her (and this may be some rendering of cgi or ai, Idk but the light seems somewhat off to me, just a bit) it gives her a bit more fuller jawline and makes the lower half of her face a bit more filled out/heavier and that may be what you’re seeing as more masculine.

well her final form is likely a void lord. shes just using a helf shadow priest as a visage

Wow.

That gives me Diablo 4 cinematic vibes.

That Dark troll dancing was sick.
But the Dwarf working, that gives me the chills.

Dwarf will always be my favorite race in RPGs. That must look crazy that I’m Orc but I’m long time Horde player, so I can’t play Dwarf in WoW, not as my main.

Also: is it just ME or it seems that Xal’Atath face here is very similar to the actress Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan from Mandalorian) ???

She might be Jaina’s long lost sister then. :joy:

For you the image might just be missing context… i.e. we can’t see her body. Pan down and she’ll have a gentle hourglass figure and an average bosom. It’ll bring the whole picture together.

As a man, that’s how I see thing, anyway.

Wouldn’t surprise me, but a lot of game tech scans real world people and places it in the game, placing their own spin on it.
