New Chat mute Feature = they can not play?

Can’t join groups so how do they play? why not just perma bann them? you know i’ve never been muted myself but if people can just multi report to mute??? i mean??? ah well. Final Fantasy is pretty cool

it does now that is my whole complaint, my friend can’t join anything

Also it takes alot if reports to trigger the squelch. I think it’s 40 unique reports within 30 days. After 30 days any reports falls off.

Uh, it actually does.

You can’t join M+ groups or use dungeon finder. You can’t even list an M+ group.

tell your friend just not to type anything into the chat box…ever.

that pretty much what i do, but if your muted and going into 9.1 your kinda screwed

there is very little content which requires the group finder.

i’m not sure how you arrive at 80 to 90%

…and let’s be honest, it’s their own doing.
if they want to be able to play with groups, they clearly need to be educated on how to act around other humans.

so… quite literally what i said.

and none of that stuff stops you from playing the game.

perhaps if these people weren’t so obnoxious, they’d have people who are willing to group with them, and wouldn’t need to be inflicting themselves upon random unsuspecting players.

You can’t talk to anyone, start groups, talk to groups, list groups, join groups. You can’t do dungeons.

You can’t do BGs because there are no call-outs.

So… what are they doing besides dailies or weeklies?
