I think “let the suffering end” is the very wrong thing to ask for in The Maw.

I don’t mind not being able to walk in the Maw. What I mind is not being able to pop my vendor mount to clean out my bags when I’m in the middle of nowhere there. Flashback to the part of Classic that never feels good, walking across an entire zone to get to the only vendor you can clean out your bags at.
But since the questline in Maldraxxas that puts characters in the Maw is broken and can’t be completed by a leveler, I don’t personally have a reason to be there, even during slow times like these when people are looking for something to do.
Corridor Creeper works in the maw even without the quest, along with a few others
New alts should be able to skip the Maw. New players should avoid SL at all costs if they value their sanity.

idk why you can’t skip the maw if a warband character has completed the intro already. same thing with zereth mortis STILL requiring korthia story to unlock
I skip everything when I go to the SL. The only thing I do is the covenant intros.
Finding where the quests start is a pain.
They start in Oribos by Bolvar.
If you’re talking about alt’s you need to do 5 minutes of quests. Always choose the “ I’ve seen this before “ options.
Choose a covenant(I “think” night fae is fastest)
Do the intro quests up until you soulbind
Then it sends you back to Oribos
Now you can mount and not get feared in the maw
Pretty much this. Every character has to go through the quest line at least once and then once it’s actually unlocked everything you’ve done for your war band passes over and is shared with the rest of your characters. All 10 of my characters can go into the maw and ride a mount.
It was account-wide in SL. New and returning players think they’re exempt from playing the game because it’s old content. Here’s some advice for them. Don’t play Final Fantasy 14.

During Shadowlands until the last patch, it was pretty much per character for me which is why I only played two characters during that expansion. I waited until the final patch when they unlocked everything across the board and then I started taking another characters down there.

Druid travel form for the win! was a welcome bypass for having to walk around in the Maw until you either GTAʻd a robot bear or learned to ride in the maw
worst case can do what i did… the addon BTWQuests lists out the quest lines needed pretty well imo most of the skips unlock for ur account roughly like 4 to 5 chapters in depending on zone story length think maw was around the point u get rid of the eye debuff zereth was like chapter 4 iirc honestly the addon made it really easy to keep track of what i needed to do and where to go
the issue of needing an addon to figure that stuff out is a different issue that i personaly think shouldnt exist >.<
