there was new models in beta, it was awesome! we dont need to wait WoD to use this! just give us the checkbox to use’em or not like in WoD! PLZ Blizzard! Dwarfs are so damn ugly in classic…

To each their own if toggable.
Believe the main issue with the toggle when it first came out was newer armors that were released were clipping the older models so instead of doing additional rigging they chose the easier option of just getting rid of old models as an option.
This wouldn’t be an issue (in Classic) as newer models are able to use older armor pieces that mesh with the old and new models.
Of course, if there is any rigging conflicts with such a proposed toggle default to older models and get rid of newer models. If no problem exist issue is resolved.

No one wants updated models in Classic.
Go play retail for that garbage.
Retail still exists. You can do your pet battles, collect mounts, and be furries with your friends.
The new models are absolute garbage and look awful and have terrible animations

No, he is wrong, 100%.
He said, “No one wants,” but as this thread proves, there are individuals who do want. His statement was an absolute, and as an absolute is proven wrong by the mere existence of the thread requesting the newer models be available in classic.
Entirely a matter of opinion, but again, any absolute, whether in favor of or against, will be wrong. Some people like the new models and animations, some don’t.
Wrong forum section, in my opinion, as this should not exist in Classic, at all.

If we’re gonna make changes to later classic expansions why is it always in the direction of retail? Why not in the direction of classic? That’s what I want. Put a revamped classic-style skill tree in MoP. And get rid of flying mounts in pandaria permanently
