Leveled over 20 characters to max level since I started playing back in Legion. Multiple characters during Legion, and I can say for an Arms warrior the damage we are doing is horrible in Remix, and it is turning leveling into a slog. Starting at level 10, and by the time I slogged to 20, I was ready to call it.
Timewalking nor regular leveling in Legion was like this at all. It feels like mobs are taking at least three to four times as long to kill, and I mean just regular mobs. Mortal Strike? more like Paper Cut. Hilarious to see the health bar not even move a tenth when using it. I have done the Highmountain campaign more times than I can remember. The damage I am doing now is horrible, and with all the extra junk I have.
MoP Remix was much, much faster for an Arms Warrior.

You need to play more to gain more power. On my fury warrior, I was demolishing by level 25-35 without any real issue. Though, I heard by others in test discussion chat that you get a little weaker once you hit 70.
Character is level 26 now, same thing. Also it might be due to you being a fury warrior. Arms is quite different in abilities. Never saw an Arms warrior twink, they all have been Fury ones in Timewalking.

Fury warriors are used as twinks because of the war machine talent speed buff after whirlwind cleaves everything to death. They are optimal for a single talent and the fact that you can enchant two weapons with lifestealing.
Ok here we go, canât deny this.
I by chance have an alt that is level 21 on live, an Arms warrior. I just used Chromie Time and selected legion, have an item level of 84. 3-4 hits are taking mobs down. All in about 3-4 seconds.
My remix character is NO WHERE near that damage. Like I said, Mortal Strike is barely taking a 10th of their health down. While in Chromie Time, Mortal Strike takes nearly 50% of their life.
Edit:
Killing the exact same mobs in Highmountain. The alt I have in Chromie time is 21, and the Remix character is 27 now, but the difference is insane. I am one shotting with a single Mortal Strike, while in Remix, multiple mortal strikes are not killing the same mob.

The scaling, fundamentally, is not the same in Legion Remix. I also have no clue what content youâre doing, so I donât have an idea on how powerful your artifact weapon is.
I just switched to arms and refilled my weapon. At 62, my DPS feels fine.
Well it is not fine, it is quite absurd.
Canât understand how you think the scaling should be different, it scales to level 80, just like on live.
Never mind, iâm done with you and this junk. I tested for 6 hours, and there is my feedback.

I think there is a massive misunderstanding between us.
Some more numbers to toss into the mix.
Comparisons of Normal Legion, Timewalking Legion, and Remix versions of a Wild Plains Runehorn.
item level, player level, npc level, health, and Mortal Strike damage
286, 48, 45, 9.5K, 7.8K
84, 22, 22, 1.2K, 1K
Now RemixâŚ
132, 33, 33, 19.4K, 2.4K
Thatâs right, a level 33 npc in Remix is just about 20K health⌠No wonder my Mortal Strikes are barely denting them.

Wouldnt it be because all the stats you get are %'s? Low level in remix for example (throwing random numbers out) has 21 base str and gets a armor piece that has 4% str thats .84 extra str while in retail the warrior would have a armor piece that gives them 4 str.
So tldr %'s scale better with higher numbers so once you get some levels in the % stats start to shine better?
To answer your question simply, No. My retail warrior at level 48 (in green gear) has about 200 more strength than my level 46 remix character, so acting in Remix your character even at level 46 has an insane amount of main stat and you need to increase npc health by over 1000% to balance out the infinite buff is absurd.
MoP remix was not like this. MoP remix used the cloak stats as bonus power, not considered extra base stats that npcs were balanced from. If you are going to try a broken balancing system for the infinite power, why even bother having it?

This is no longer the case after the recent patch. They completely removed Versatility from Remix and they nerfed Mastery by around 50%. They added more Speed and HP. So weâre now damage sponges with low damage and the mobs are damage sponges with high damage. This just feels bad and if they release Legion Remix in this state itâs going to fail HARD.
Theyâve completely removed everything that made MoP Remix such a huge success and in doing so have created this disappointing excuse of an event. I was okay with what they had done prior to this recent stat nerf but after that itâs just unfun⌠Period.

In MOP remix, you can basically complete The temple of the jade in 30-40 seconds with a level 20 priest/druid/DH or whatever from your trial account to carry other 4 of your alts.
Does Legion remix has similar ways to power level your alts from 4 other accounts in the same efficiency?
This sucks so hard. I knew Lemix was going to be worse, and it even played worse when I loaded up the PTR the week-of. Now they made it even WORSE with this new patch? God damn, man.
It is so typical for Blizzard to make something fun the first time around and then ruin it entirely the next time they try to make the same thing. MoP Remix was surprisingly simple, but INCREDIBLY fun. I have no idea what they were thinking here. Remix wasnât necessarily something they needed to âiterateâ on. This blows.

In MoP Remix your cloak buff had raw numbers for Mainstat, Stamina, Crit, Haste, Mastery, Versatility, Leech, Speed, and Expgain.
Even without the Frog farm, you could just kill mobs in the open world, and gain a great deal of cloak power that way. I know I did that exact thing.
Despite having a low item level from not getting high amounts of Bronze to upgrade gear. I was able to (when I would be accepted into a raid) often carry the thing.
In Legion Remix you buff is Mainstat, Stamina, Speed and Expgain, that are displayed as a Percent. That is all. Your Artifact weapon, has generic traits that are bonuses to effects on your neck, rings, and trinkets. Nothing directly working with your class/spec abilities.
Bronze is now a non player power, cosmetic currency.
Player power now is coming from gear. So if you want real player power you are going to have to do M+ and higher level raids. Just like retail, not like what you would expect from Remix.
It is also a titanic mistake to not have all of Legion open. Everyone is now stuffed into the main island, the others are timelocked, No Argus, no Broken Shore. Unlike MoP where you had everything at your fingertips.
They totally took the joy out of MoP Remix, and turned Legion Remix more into a weaker version of what you would expect from Legion Classic.

no, not at all. low levels players usually do less damage than higher, and you dont unlock the âinfinite powerâ of your weapon Until 80, so anyone at lower level is pretty gimped with only the gear they can find. all farming does in low levels is⌠raise your hp. How helpfulâŚ
Canât agree with this enough. Iâve been referring to this remix as âRetail+â, being that youâre Still gambling for gear in the hopes to get stronger, but this time with a pity system of adding effectively one gem to your gear every 3-4 dungeons you run.
Pre nerf I was at least doing 25% dps to my health- 10m hp to 2.5m dps. After, im doing all of⌠800k single target.
I couldnât care less about rpâing as a Literal raid boss, with equivalent damage and health -_-

Seems like Blizzard clearly wanted everyone to cancel their subscription till the next expansion.
Someone looked at the stats from MoP Remix and drew the wrong conclusions.
All they saw were raid bosses falling over in seconds and players soloing dungeons, so concluded they had overshot the power levels and needed to adjust in Legion.
What they missed were how many players were engaged with the mode and playing day after day, with no one having any issues finding groups or feeling left out.
If they keep pushing power levels down trying to apply retail power progression and gating design, they will shoot themselves in the foot and have far fewer players in Legion Remix.
