still bugged as of 2/14/21
edit - similar to someone above, I dropped quest and went to Org to toggle WM.
Problem solved.
Quest is still super bugged as of 2/21/21. I got through it with a combination of the solutions above.

Quest is still bugged. It worked by abadonning the quest. I hope that it will soon get fixed
Still bugged. March 18th 2021.
Worst part about this bug is that if you donāt have BFA flying, you have to walk. Alot.
Waste of 15 minutes just to abandon, pick-up, retry, etc.
Luckily I didnāt have to re-enable warmode or anything fancy.

Needless to say i am NOT going to do any BFA content on an alt i m trying to gear ā¦ itās REALLY annoying because that quest blocks any further progress with your covenantā¦

This is a garbage answer. They canāt fix their crap so now I have to go back with an alt and start BfA?
This quest is STILL bugged.
wow this is STILL bugged. unreal. forced me to simply quit my alt as I cant progress gear-wise without finishing campaign. I never played BFA, have no interest in it now, and cant even begin to figure out how to return. I would say this is simply shocking and C-grade, actually the worst game-breaking bug Iāve ever seen in 30 years of gamin. Blizzard really has gone downhill.
