Fair point…but you could have actually edited the content since I wasn’t clear on what you thought you were wrong about. Anyway, I’ll go edit mine as well.

Oh! That’s a good point! I’ll go back and edit my posts again, try and avoid confusing people! :sparkling_heart:

Thank you! :sunflower:

I went back and made sure to clarify, and I stroked them out! Hopefully that helps. :four_leaf_clover:

Why do I feel like that’s a jab? :joy:

I am very excited about the prospect of new appearance options for so many races! The news about being able to separate eye color and face shape is very good, and I am looking forward to being able to pick my character’s face without worrying about if the eye color I want is available for that face! This should positively affect all player characters in the future, and that is fantastic!

I have many cosmetic options I would like to see made available for blood elves, though I don’t know how much lore would affect them being put into the game. I do wonder if the new starting zone that has been mentioned plays into that at all. If your character doesn’t have to go through the usual racial starting zone, does that free up the character’s backstory to be something else, and therefore justify having a look that conflicts with the usual character background, such as not being a Darkspear troll or Bronzebeard dwarf? Could this be used to justify undead blood elves, since lorewise dark rangers are part of the Forsaken, but neither the Forsaken or Blood Elf starting zones would make sense for them? Would this be possible for San’layn as well, or are they still too monstrous to be player characters?

For general new options, I would like more variation in skin color, hair color, and hair texture. I would also like male blood elves to have a few thicker facial hair options, possibly similar to that seen on some of the Warcraft III Reforged models, as well as earring options, seeing as Lor’themar now has plenty as part of his new model. I would also like scarring options, both intentional like some of the facial markings currently available for demon hunters and the box art for Burning Crusade, and accidental like Lor’themar’s eye scar. After all, a melee fighter who’s lived a few centuries would have a pretty good chance of being a bit roughed up, and Lor’themar shouldn’t be unique in that. These could be facial or along the upper body, since the new transmog rules would let such markings be seen. Tattoos would be great as well, if only so that mages can have sleeve tattoos like Rommath. New natural eye colors or variation on eye shine would be nice, but just being able to have the golden eyes on all faces would be great as well. I think adding different eye colors and more skin tones to death knights as a whole would be a good option for dark ranger and san’layn character backgrounds, if having those looks for other classes as part of the general population isn’t something the developers want to justify. Personally I would like bird-like wings to be available for demon hunters so that mine can look even more like a felblood elf than he already does, but that could be implemented as a glyph as well if that becomes an option, similar to the existing wing glyphs. Overall, more variation in general should help player characters look more unique, and I would personally love the option to have my pretty blood elves look a bit less perfect.

No our Thalassian Elf thing is Void Elves.

Yes, and if you’ve noticed, the eye color Void Elves have IS Blue!

Thalassian elves need to give up on the whole separation thing anyway. Practicing different powers never mattered. I mean sure void can warp the well, but it’s easy to stay away from. Quel’thalas is so out of the way. And if we turned to druidism, we’d have still be screwed. Elune, still screwed.

I’ve long thought everyone being apart made elf kind more vulnerable.

Sure, my point is simple that I don’t like it.

DK Blood elves would like a chat with you. Blue eyed blood elf npcs would also like a little word.

Wow…I had to go duckduck that up…and couldn’t find ‘Elfs’ for plural. So I dug a little deeper and this place says the term ‘elfs’ hasn’t been in use for over 200 years. Please tell me you’re not that old? Or if you are, can I have your secret, please? :scream_cat:

Green eyes were meant to be temporary, like a tan. Other than that it never really made much sense. Alleria spent time on Argus and her eyes stayed blue. Giving blue eyed high elves to the Alliance is what blurred the lines, time for them to be phased out, rolled into Void Elves, or return home.

Positive attitude, healthy diet, kindness towards myself and others. Gardening and volunteering at the local animal shelter, long walks through the woods, camping under the stars. The fresh blood of a male virgin sacrificed on the Summer Equinox when the moon is full and Mars is in retrograde. Standard stuff. :heartpulse:

As for Elfs, I grew us reading things like Grimm Faerie Tales, Shakespeare, old Irish and Norse mythology. I love faeries, and old words. Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era. :four_leaf_clover:

I never knew I wanted to play a sand troll until now. I better work on getting appearances for a tmog.

They have blue eyes like any other DK. I’ts not a feature to your race anymore, it’s ours.

Is there a citation for this? Last i checked High Elves were a Horde race.

I don’t see High Elves listed anywhere on the creation screen. I do see blue eyes on Void Elves though.
