Did we give up on shamans? Only thing we got is that sky fury totem triggers now when casting primordial wave. We need help y’all…. This isn’t it….

I’m glad I’ve settled on benching my Shaman and start playing Evoker now. Since it’s the shiny new class, Evoker is at least getting attention. Main’d a Resto Shaman since MOP and the sheer lack of attention the class gets is just… I’m done. All I wanted was to be a god of thunder and storms but the class is so clunky and lackluster that it’s just not worth my investment anymore. Evoker does everything a Shaman can, but better.

And they STILL haven’t addressed the fact that Tempest is so bad, it’s better to /cancelaura and just use Lightning Bolt instead.

I’m tired, boss.

I noticed they are starting to do visual updates for some classes like warrior roar, warlock demon summon spell etc.

Sure would be nice if Shaman could get some spell animation updates.

To be clear, this has been happening every expansion and season before. The difference now is that they have started doing it openly without even paying lip service to maintaining it anymore. Blizzard has chosen to maintain new classes like Evoker that they created, instead of maintaining older classes like Shaman made by previous developers.

Playing a Shaman in WoW and complaining is like going to a famous steakhouse, ordering tomato soup, and then complaining about why the tomato soup isn’t good. They don’t have the will, ability, or time to improve the taste of the tomato soup. So people around you would think, “Why are you doing this? Just eat the steak.”

Shaman was one of the foundational classes of WoW, though. It was a huge building block of the game’s lore coming out of WC3, especially for the Horde.

So it’s more like going to a steakhouse that’s changed its menu to seafood, and still has steak on its menu, but the steaks are literally left over from when it was still a steakhouse and none of the current kitchen staff have more than a passing knowledge of how to handle beef.

I mean can a blue just say something at this point? Even if nothing is happening?

Be careful what you ask for, you might just get the warrior treatment.

Id rather get no changes than something like that.

I already provided the necessary feedback on this so i won’t repeat myself.

I’m not even mad, I’m just disappointed honestly. One thing is to quit a class because I don’t like it, another is to quit because Blizzard gave up. Seeing how they get treated is just sad

All I want to do is be able to keep up, not even shine.

I started to get happy the first day of beta with the stormbringer hero talents. Thats saying a lot since my main has been enhancement shaman since BC. All I ask is that at 40 stacks of maelstrom, tempest should be instant cast . Stop jipping us. Read the forums since BC. Make us OP for once…overdue it.

If you get a skyfury totem everytime a PW wave goes off…in pve, or pvp, isnt that a good thing though?

But you don’t get it in pve

Then you and everyone else would be correct in suggesting that it sucks cheeks

Shadowlands had some rough patches. Mage has, for the most part, received good attention this expansion after its rework, but it’s not all puppy dogs and rainbows. In BFA our meta frost gameplay was degenerate to our devs, but they didn’t realize until after the fact…

There’s only one fight where mages are in the top ten for sep in 9.2.5 according logs.

And I just noticed on the TWW talent calculator they increased the recast timer on static field totem from 60 seconds to 90 seconds…

Yea, just more reason to give the guy working on shamans the big middle finger. Honestly, are they making enhancement as bad as possible for pvp in TWW?

I hope they revert that change. I’m sure they’ll see way less people taking that talent and will hopefully change it back, I don’t see any justifiable reason to increase the cooldown on an already mobility challenged class

That conspiracy nut in me doesn’t like the fact that the only changes lately to shaman are related to hindering their performance in pvp… just before we go into a pvp with the dev’s match.

It’s like they are afraid of the shaman players for some reason… and it sure ain’t for our “defensives”.
