New Banshee Mogs

Among a great many other things, there are some Banshee transmogs coming up in 11.1.7 potentially. There looks to be a Scourge, Forsaken, and … Holy Light variant. Looks kinda Plate-y, maybe heavier end of the Mail spectrum at least.

Now, I’m not saying Forsaken Paladins confirmed, but there are also matching Forsaken Horses to go along with each variant.

Now, I’m not saying Sylvanas confirmed, but maybe brace for this place to implode with Sylvanas posts in the near future.

Now, I’m not saying these are just going to be cash shop items, but syrup goes good with pancakes.

Now, I’m not saying much of anything really, except they look good. That’s coming from very much not a Sylvanas fanboy, old or new.

I’m coming to consider it a sort of necessary evil. No blood elf, night elf, or nightborne character is going to win a duel for screentime against the living Windrunners, but the dead one has a big enough name to do unto her sisters.

Could always end up being a bunch of Trading Post offerings, but something about putting Forsaken stuff on there seems … less usual. I know we got the Banshee Queen stuff before, but Sylvanas is an iconic character.

Like 91% of my investment in this game is transmog though, so I’m here for it.

They are all trading post items. June or July theme seems to be “Forsaken Memories” or whatnot.

This is true, but Alleria usurped all her active plotlines (link to Dalaran, animosity with Silvermoon, active Alliance heroism). In recompense they’ve inexplicably reimagined Vereesa as the Windrunner clan’s peacemaker and I dread to wonder how that will manifest come Midnight.

Yeah but they reversed that almost immediately - hell does she even have anything plot related to do with Quel’thalas after the recruitment? From what little I’ve done of BFA on both sides it seems entirely non-existent.

The armor sets for the most part look like recolorings of Molten Core gear. Or maybe Blackrock Spire, I always mix the two.

The banshee mogs and mounts are for the July trading post (July is forsaken themed) so I wouldn’t put too much stock into it cause trading post monthly themes have never really been hints at future story developments

There have been a few, like Voidsong. Best case scenario here is probably just more evidence of a revamp.
