How do you guys feel about this? I’m kinda sad, I would’ve rather they kept EP and substituted say Gathering Storm for the new Anvil trait. What if I wanted to be that guy that helps the raid in the last 35%? I don’t like it honestly, it removes another way of playing my character and boxes me into using this new trait (It’s pretty good, more mortal strikes for the win but it just serves another purpose than EP).
People will still bring in warriors when they need that extra push in the execute phase - EP or not. However, I think it’s universally agreed that removing it is a bad call, and everyone is upset. I personally don’t even have any pieces of it, and I’m still sad to see it go.
I’ve been cranky on the matter ever since they removed it as a core function of arms going into BFA, for rotational purposes if nothing else. Spamming execute and OP is much interesting guys, wow! But sub-35% is where arms lights up with or without it. At least the new trait looks fun.
I will be sad to see it go, Arms doesn’t have many really hard hitting abilities and stacking 2-3 EP traits really let MS shine during an execute phase. Sure, if you stack 3 LoW traits CS will hit hard but that is only once every 30-45 seconds. It’s just doesn’t feel nearly as good as consistently building up for huge MS hits during the execute phase.
What is EP? never saw that has striking the anvil was always the trait i saw during testing.
Executioners precision. STA is replacing it on all current gear apparently.
One strike the anvil is absolutly insane in the current iteration.
With a little luck, you can cast so many MS during one Warbreaker its great.
Yes it is. But your mastery will be a trash stats.
Why exactly? The fact that we will naturaly be able to have more deep wound rolling will keep it valuable vs other stats as well.
Does the 1.5s stack or is it just the damage?
Damage only.
So far it’s looking pretty good to have 1 of StA for the CD reduction. I like the change in rotation.
“Lets remove execute from other classes and make warriors the king of execute”
proceeds to make execute hit like a wet noodle this expansion compared to previous expansions
I guess the only upside to execute not being as meaty is we’re balanced to do more damage at the beginning of the fight. Though we still shine at the end. Which is probably why they removed EP in favor of StA.
you think im NOT TIGHT!!! check out my post i just posted … Blizzards Devs are BIG DUMMY’S.
MY POINT EXACTLY!!!, but heres the Deal that Anvil trait is TRASH!!, that more “MS for the win” only works when tactician procs in which its a very random proc along with 1k DPS in overpower?? blizzard really Put the nail in the coffin this time.
Yeah and no more single target damage which that was kinda our only GO-TO trait for it. AND ON TOP OF THAT!! they NERFED the AOE on arms … like I’m sorry this patch was a NERF & an L for arms warrior. I said it before the patch, Blizard DOESE 1 DUMMB thing to arms WE FIGHTING and I’m posting on the forums. Arms was struggling as is before this tragic EP removal, and now … oh lord I can imagine in arenas the massacre … . It was bad enough bro. And let’s be honest we really had a good speed in mortal strike anyway, its a useless feature, one second is not much difference tbh then what it was. I agree with you, a petition should be made to bring it back. I Hate to say this but whoever in Blizzard changed the trait should be fired for being RAggedy, Musty, DUmmy and STOOPID, he dont know the class and how its rolling CLEARLY.
Exactly bro.
To Hell with fun, I want damage, and being able to kick butts. Like we dont finna go to Graveyards or loose rating for a trash class removal trait.
Its just tragic bro. Trust me no ones more angry then me, Legit i was recording a video and notice the Debuff of EP wasnt on the mob. I read it and BOOM stoopid ANVIL BRO!! like tf.
it was my fav part about it.
Id truly like to be Optimistic about it as you are but, Trust me … Its trash lololol. whats the Point of doing alot of mortal strikes when they hit like feathers (max 20k DPS)
Its because this is how blizzard is trying to fix their crappy AZ system. Rather then make traits that have clear advantages, they are just going to nerf them all into near uselessness so that it does not matter what you take.
That sounds like a good way to make sure only 1 trait per spec is worth it.
