Why are we receiving a recolored mount from Shadowlands for completing Dragonflight content? At least with Shadowlands the mount was eye catching and unique, this is just disappointing.
I would’ve expected a new dragonriding mount, an elemental, or something interesting at least, even a recolored Slimesaber for those who missed out I would’ve been okay with.
Yeah I’m a little bummed out about this. It isn’t even related to the Dragon Isles…
I would have been happier with a Drake Manuscript giving us Iridikron or Vyranoth for our Protos.
I think the only thing that annoys me is that it is tied to normal and higher difficulties. Again. And yeah, it’s not great anyway, but I guess that’s why I’m not that irritated about it.
I hated that mount in SL and I continue to hate it in DF.
It shares coloration with the Emerald Dream.
this wouldve been great for trading post mount… but i reallly like the color scheme of it so… guess i’ll do some raiding 
Last expansion I was driven to get the Slime cat. This expansion, I’ll probably just get it passively because raiding this expansion has been so much easier and probably never use it save for having it count as a +1 to the mount gods.
So many potential models to use from DF and they go with a recolored long dog from Night Fae.
Why couldn’t it have been a Bakar dog mount?! Not like they’re opposed to giving out ground mounts in an expansion all about dragon flying…

I think that Blizzard has really dropped the ball on this reward honestly. I genuinely think that when we compare it to the slime-cat, this is just laughably bad. Truthfully, I think it would’ve made a great Trading Post mount, but it has nothing to do with Dragonflight or the Dragon Isles, and out of everything they could’ve picked, they chose arguably one of the worst mounts from Shadowlands to boot.
It just feels like a massive slap across the face, given how much hype and anticipation they’ve been building for Season 4, and this is what we’re given. At least the Amoredons, although also not great either, is at least if not similar, somewhat unique.
Hopefully they change it.
The DF meta achievement awards a Taivan mount.

yes, i agree this is not a good mount for the fated dragonflight rewards… it is a recolor of a shadowlands mount that has many recolors already.
this is quite disappointing, hopefully they change it before the patch goes live.
Quiet or else Blizzard will hear and we’ll get another model swap for the Proto Drake 
Or even worse, another shalewing (those things are hideous, like gnomes).
