New allied race

Vrykul, end of discussion.

Paladin, Mage, Warrior, (Maybe DK?), Shaman, Warlock.

please and ty blizz

I think we should go with a race that’s been in the game since the beginning of the game and is constantly overlooked. Ogres. They can have one or two heads and they have both Melee and ranged options for tanking and DPS and they even have the capability of being healers. they also happen to wear a variety of gear and have worked closely with Horde in the past, but some of them may want to come to the alliance.

Sorry but orgs would be an awful player character. I think the naga and orgs should be 100% off the table. I know that is a common pov but I just cant accept them as okay for a player.

well, considering the vrykul are about 11 feet tall and would look pretty silly trying to walk into buildings or ride a flight path. I’ll have to veto that.

Well, alliance almost got naga in burning crusade. No one cares what you can’t accept, because blizz hasn’t ruled out them becoming playable. The only reason they weren’t made playable was because of the technology of the time, and they didn’t know how to deal with armor.

I suspect if we get playable Naga, they will have to be similar to the Dracthyr and have a visage form, but turned back into a reptile while doing damage.

Holy… God that would have been beautiful actually. The Blood elves were more or less kicked out of the Alliance for accepting Naga aid and to have Blood elves on the Horde with Naga on the Alliance. Oooh boy. The hypocrisy writes itself.

(but ideally I want sethrak…)

I tend to find more Alliance mains advocate for the Horde getting ogres than Horde mains do

Like I see the usual:

  • ā€œAlliance should get [insert-awesome-race] and Horde should get ogres!ā€

Like uh no, I want the cooler awesome race. :joy: :joy: :joy:

I mean, why not just fully end the faction barrier and let both sides get cool awesome race… and ogres.

Ah. Another ā€˜human’ race.

That’s fine, Alliance can have them. The Horde will take in the Saberon, or maybe even Gnolls.

The easiest race-combo to ever exist, and yet the devs cant see it

  • Ogres for the horde

  • Vrykul to the alliance

  1. Both are the ancestors race of orcs and humans

  2. Both are ā€œgiantsā€ with vrykul resembling the jotun/norse giants and ogres resembling cyclops as well.

  3. Both fit thematically alliance and horde.

But what’s their idea? ROCK DWARVES TO BOTH FACTIONS, like COME ON DEVS do you not see this?

And next allied race i bet is going to be the furry elves, neutral as well, while good races who are in the game for years are forgotten
