I’m at the cap of 60, but I noticed today the new expansion will have an allied race called “Earthen” or something. Look kind of like blue dwarves. I assume these will be like panda and able to be either faction? I’d make 1 but I have no character slots and don’t want to delete a level 60+ character lol

Doubtful. We got 8 allied races between both factions before we got more character slots, and that was after a couple of years of asking for them with math being in the equation.

Wow not hating but I thought having 16 characters was a lot, I can’t even imagine ever having 60.

I wish I could transfer some of my 50 classic era character slots to retail. Just a few on classic era is good for me but I’d happily make more retail gnomes.

I wish they’d give us the ability to move our connected realm alts to the one menu, kinda sucks constantly jumping between servers to log into different alts. I understand that it could cause some naming conflicts, but all they really need to do is have the little marker to indicate that it’s from a different connected realm.

Thirteen classes and twenty-four (soon to be twenty-five) races. Why do you need more than sixty character slots again? Why do you even need sixty in the first place…

I’m at 55, I’m hoping they raise it by the time Earthen come out and they open class/race combos more. Ideally I want to make a few Earthen characters, and then at some point I’ll do Nightborne Shaman and Paladin, Draenei Druid and more.

Oh ok, i thought they were just little groups that we’d select from our characters on any given individual realm and they’d all have some type of connection? Honestly i don’t even pay much attention to this stuff, which is probably why i didn’t know that it worked cross sever lol

So, the character select screen will only show a couple of your characters sitting around but ALL of your characters are in your warband, and should ALL be available in a single character select screen

Yeah, I’m really looking forward to it! Having the warband bank will make it way easier to move some stuff around as well, especially cross server

idk about for him but ive server hoped a few times over the life of wow due to various reasons. i got 3 servers i have toons im playing on because of various plans that didnt work out but already having a geared toon there and another 2 that i no longer play but is all my work from vanilla and bc on 1 and then mop to mid bfa on the other. cant justify deleting something ive sunk this much time into. i just wish there was a paid service to consolidate our account or even to be able to consolidate 1 class per cost. ide love to go back to having everything on just 1 server with all my progress and everything again but since we dont have anything like this as a possibility ill settle for more slots so i can play new races even if its only to get the achievement/xmog

Do what I did with my gnome which was to delete one and quickly use the name on the allied race. That’s how I have 5 alts max. 
…although I really need to prepare alts for the new upcoming heritage quests.

Some ppl it is their endgame to make new characters basically. My friend has at least one of every spec and multiples of a lot of them. Not for me but i get it. Leveling is fun.

no like heres money now take 4 of my druids and combine them into 1. items rep quests done and so on all merged so i now have 1 druid but i didnt lose out on all the stuff i did on the others
