They changed it so that you are able to post at the same price instead of having to undercut by 1 copper, those who post more recently will have their items bought out first.

If different prices are listed, they should at least show them along with quantities. We can’t even tell how many items are listed at the price displayed until you try to buy something. Why make it tedious?

I haven’t had a chance to see the new AH but withholding judgement until I see it first hand.

It just shows the lowest prices item now… until those are all sold out then it would show the next lowest one.

When you click on the item, it shows you a list of the different prices.

i doubt anything is more tedious with the new system, as consolidating everything into one source is pretty much the opposite of tedious. That’s the whole point of consolidating.

It is designed where it is pools all similar priced sales so it is easier on the buyer. Yeah there are drawbacks to this new system but it is what it is.

I like the new auction house changes you can buy the exact amount of materials you need and we wont have to worry about 50 pages of auctions slowing down scans.

I like clicking a stack and then being done. It’s mandatory to click the item in order to bring up the list of quantities, so why not just remove that first redundant step and list the distinct item prices from the start. This isn’t any improvement for buyers.

yes. it’s a huge improvement.
if I want to buy 87 herbs now, I can just buy 87 and it will auto buy the lowest priced ones.
no more buying 5 from one guy, 1 from another, 30 from another, or the full stack that some guy overpriced.
except it was broken. the old AH was clunky and awful, and there was always that stupid chucklehead that posted thousands of single stack ores.

Look up Deep Sea Satin or some other trade good, you can select the cheapest price and type in the exact quantity you want to buy and it will buy that amount from the most recent auction posts.

It actually is, unless someone lists hundreds of 1 stack items at different prices, it now lumps them all together and you’d buy from that group of items if they were the cheapest.
You also no longer have to list items as stacks, I just put up 212 of a herb in 1 auction.
