I’m returning to the game this season. Been out since (season 3?) of shadowlands.
Upon hitting level 70, I have absolutely no idea how to figure what on earth to do, and there’s a billion things on my minimap and all these currencies that I don’t know how to use, if they’re still relevant, etc.
Yes, I can watch YouTube and read sites. But how about just update the adventure guide?
“What activities are you interested in?”
-dungeons
-quests
-pvp
-raiding
-exploration
-(etc, etc)
“What are you trying to accomplish?”
-improve my gear
-unique collectibles
-experience the story
-make money
-(etc, etc)
Then the guide actually guides you to specific activities and gives relevant advice.
“You want to improve your gear via questing and pvp, awesome! Start by accepting (quest) to collect (rewards). Also consider questing for (x) to obtain (currency). Once you’ve done these things, talk to me again!”
So now I’ve done some important weekly quest and some battlegrounds and have some gear and some currencies.
“Great, it looks like you can use (currency) to upgrade (gear)! Go to (vendor) to make the upgrades. Additionally, you can have (gear) crafted, and continue queuing for (x).”
And on and on. I think that would be so, so helpful. A way to filter through what content you like, what you are trying to achieve, and then getting some step by step guidance and what to do and where to go.
