Hey, since we have One-Button Addons like GSE, how about someone creates an addon that lets you control two characters at once? Instead of managing the rotation on just one character, you could execute rotations on two characters simultaneously. What do you guys think?
GSE isn’t that simple. It’s sets of macros.
That’ll probably get you banned, as such things are considered automation.

I’m not suggesting automation. I’m suggestion someone merge two GSE addons into one.
You can say its not automation…but that would definitely fall under the multi-boxing automation category and get you banned.
Each character has to have independent clicks

First off, there any many players that use GSE so why when I mention it you have a issue with it.
Second, I never suggested mutlboxing I’m saying if you have one account you can log into two alts and do their rotation.
The rules are pretty clear:
1 action by the user equals 1 action on 1 character.
Anything that violates this rule can get you banned for botting.

So you are suggesting that someone creates and addon for something that is impossible to do without multiboxing? Fancy.
Hint: If you have multiple clients open, its mutliboxing.
You don’t need multiboxing if you have more than one alt.
Im starting to think you dont understand what multi-boxing is.
Its running/controlling more than 1 game client at the same time.
You can only run 1 character per client…thus, if you have 2 characters logged in at the same time, you’re multi-boxing. Its the only way you can do it

You should probably lose posting privileges for a bit.
GSE isn’t the issue. And GSE isn’t just “hit a button once to automate everything.”
It wouldn’t work. Just for chuckles I tried my hand at writing an addon with help from the people in the UI forum. I had a good look at the routines available to addons when I was struggling to get my “hello world” to work.
I’m pretty sure that the routines in the API only provide functionality for your current login. If you were to multi-box and start another character I doubt that any of the routines in the API could do much of anything to control your character in the second login.
I may be wrong about that, after all who ever controls the NPCs in the mobs can control multiple NPC characters but even if there is such a routine in the list I doubt that they let anyone outside of Blizzard development have access to it.
That’s perfectly fine. What isn’t fine is copying inputs from one client into the other.
