New "account-wide" raid skips not fully consistent

Yep farming Sanctum and Sepulcher for the mounts is on hold other than my one toon that has done the unlock.

It’d be nice to get a blue post confirming that this is unintentional or not. We’re all assuming this is unintentional and is a bug.

And today still bugged, if the patch next week doesn’t fix it then I’m not thinking it will ever change

Actually a couple days ago a blue post said the team is aware of it and it’ll be fixed in the 11.0.7 patch.

Good to hear, and matches with a little of what I theorized. I wonder if the quests are actually all converting to warband like was done with BRF, though.

Thanks I was starting to suspect that it would take a new patch to fix glad to see they confirmed that. Thank you for the link too

faction locked. Ran Battle for Dazar’alor on my horde hunter … logged into my warlock ally side couldnt do the skip… went killed the first boss went back to NPC and nothing. So not really acct wide…

I can’t personally verify this. I zoned in to Mythic on my Horde priest, who has never run the raid (nor any of my other Horde characters), and Otoye is available to skip to Jaina. Are you sure you had it on Mythic? The BFD skip is Mythic-only.

As for the rest, the SoD and SFO skips appear fixed to be account-wide, since that same priest who’s never run either of those enough to earn them can now use them.

Yes correct, I was in fact in combat at the time. I believe an enemy (one of the nearby scorpions) was stuck near the door frame. I have since had success accessing this skip.

I was hoping they’d address the random non-functional warbound skips in Sanctum and Sepulcher with 11.0.7, but alas, no such luck.

Any ETA on a fix, Bliz? This doesn’t feel like it should take that much effort.

I’m not experiencing issues; every alt I have taken to SoD and Sepulcher has the Mythic skip despite none but my hunter completing any.

Which characters are affected? There was talk of the skips not crossing faction barrier, which sounds like it could be your issue. I haven’t tried any of my Horde characters.

Interesting! It wasn’t a cross-faction issue for me. I was basing my assumption that this was still broken on the fact that when I zone in on an alt, the skip quest is available. I assumed (wrongly) that the quest would be marked as complete and thus unavailable for alts. Not so. I stand corrected. Thanks for the response

Yeah, interestingly that’s how I’ve been validating that my skip is account-wide, because my alts are given the option to skip with the skip quest itself being visible in the very same dialogue (in the case of Bolvar in SFO).
