New Abomination Limb Animation When?

I’ve only recently started playing DK and I’ve noticed that where all other classes have had their covenant talent animation updated to suit their class. Now, I know Death Knights and Necrolords are pretty much synonymous with each other but it would be nice if the animation was more in line with Death Knights. Some glyphs to make it match with Blood and Frost would be cool too, but this default Necrolord green is kind of ugly and doesn’t really fit with the rest of the class abilities, imo. Thoughts?

It already was updated. I’m fine with it but I prefer the original abom limb where it’s less bony. If anything, it’s the original DK kit that needs some serious animation overhaul.

Honestly abom limb and bone shield prevent me from playing my blood dk as they mess with class fantasy too much

I agree with you there. So many of the spell animations are outdated, not that it’s horrible (I think it’s kind of charming) but it would be better overall if they were updated.

Would be cool if they added a 10 runic cost to it so it can benefit from Dark Talons, making it Shadowfrost instead of just shadow

It was updated with neon-green bone arms as the default animation.

The original Necrolord glyph is the shadow arms.

DK kit is full of ability graphics that haven’t been touched since WotLK and then suddenly there is ONE ability that is obnoxiously over the top, completely changes the feeling of the class to being a spooky Halloween joke, and yet has all of the art resources poured into it.

Idc what it looks like i just want it to do shadow frost damage, do more damage, and be more than 1 grip in PvP.

It was originally 4 grips in PvP, did more dam, and gave rime and sudden doom every 4 secs.

Abomination limb just looks lame as hell. Always has.

Thankfully now that I’m playing unholy I rarely ever see it with so much other stuff going on.

Current version reminds me of green Mickey Mouse hands! Original version was cool.
