I have a new 60, only about a week old. On her, I unlocked the abomination factory and clicked the scroll to complete it (probably Sunday). However, it was not interactive after I completed it. Figuring that I was wrong about how it worked (it’s been a while), I upgraded to level 2. It is still not interactive and Rathan is missing. Since I am unable to click on the factory, it isn’t useable. I went to another toon and verified that the abomination factory still works on her (level 5), but I remember Rathan being next to the factory at low levels, giving me quests. I suspect that with no Rathan, I can’t do a quest that makes the factory available.
To get Rathan, you have to complete the Soul Survivors quest chain that starts with Rebellious Souls.
