This is entirely a class flavor idea. The spell is toggleable like Visage for evokers. It’s automatically learned if you have the sunfury hero tree or are a frost mage. If toggled, it summons an illusory copy of what would be your summoned pet if it’s not currently active.
It also attacks your current target like an “assist” pet option, without any actual control, with the an illusory projectile that does 0 damage that mimic’s the active pet’s basic attack. The pet’s attack doesn’t break invis and stops while invis is active.
This would give people more freedom to express their class flavor options without forcing the current mage developers away from focusing on spell rotations as is their preference. It also opens up options for glyphs for the phoenix in TWW.
