New 9.1 frost dk pvp talent + state of dk in shadowlands - shroud of winter gladiator

BIG CHANGES BOYS AND IM HERE TO THEORCRAFT

This is a game changing talent that will completely change the way DK is played, and will probably open up new comps.

Losing Heartstopper sucks, but this new talent is atleast as good as Heartstopper. Way more versatile.

Better see deathstrike healing buffs, Frost strike buffs, MOTFW 5% buff to solidify oblits ST position, Asphyxiate back to 5 seconds, Deathchill reworked, Dead of winter reworked

Something dude, Literally something

Funny how you try to predict that since they’re removing something “useful” of us means that they’re going to buff us.

Meanwhile, in today 9.1 patch, they buff rogues and demon hunters

I don’t get how they buffed Rogue’s before DKs. I guess there’s no point buffing a class no one plays.

I’ve noticed there are 1-3 dk’s at most in 40 man epic bg’s every time I que into one so the class must really be unpopular atm. Meanwhile 7-10 Paladins, mages, druids. 6 or 7 warriors, rogues. Hopefully big DK changes by the time the patch comes out.

the fact that they took out HS and nothing else on DK is not very reassuring. they basically heard complaints about it from other classes, took it out, and then didn’t look at DK at all.
we weren’t even in todays round of changes either.
also it seems like classes are getting a new debuff where they reduce the effectiveness of heals… that is probably going to affect DKs. so if we dont get any buff or any attention then we will be getting a hard healing nerf.

they nerf the class so hard that it’s such a pain to play that noone wants to play it, which i cant blame them, I started with DK and went to shaman myself. But then they dont care about the class because no one plays, so it stays unpopular.

blizzard doesnt really care about balancing, they care about not losing their customers. so of course they gingerly touch paladins or druids because people are already quitting wow in droves, so nerfing popular classes risks them quitting too.
