This is simply catering to the top % players/streamers.

Anyone with half a brain won’t even attempt this if they think it’s out of reach and it will do little to nothing for participation.

If they want to boost participation they would make the requirement more realistic for average players.

If they want to ostracize the casual player base by continually adding rewards for the very top players, this is what you. It’s like they don’t care at all…

This won’t boost participation even a little bit.

Something like this would boost it an incredible amount. You could tweak this idea however you want but keep it doable by the majority and it will be a hit.

Only the elitists would hate it because they wouldn’t get to be one of the “chosen ones”

Mythic already has a huge participation amount, they don’t need to give it more rewards simply for showing up

Giving people a reason to do stuff past 10s isn’t horrible lol

The drop off is insane. Something like this would keep more playing for longer. Much much longer

And since it would be based on completion and not time, it would also help with key leavers

You mean the same drop off raiding and pvp sees as well?

It’s kind of the nature of the game for people to get bored of the same stuff after completing everything

I happen to think using sub money to develop rewards for the top % is asinine and wasteful.

2850 is just low enough where any class can get it without much issue

I am starting to believe people don’t actually like playing alts.

They like knowing they have a geared alt. But not actually playing it.

Disagree sure, so what are you suggesting they add to raiding and pvp then as well since your issue is participation and drop off?

Kill the queen 30 times on heroic and get another recolor of her mount?

Win 500 pvp matches at 1800+ and get a different version of the war saddle color?

Also it’s a recolor, it’s not hours of dev work

No one expects this.

So? The KSM mount isn’t going anywhere and is the same mount model as this, just a different colour.

Not every reward is intended for every player.

Same here for me and most of my guildies.

We’re going to be working on 12s this season now too to get in the experience.

You’re so right. I quit after I got portals just because I’m bad and couldn’t go further. None of that experience matters at all because you said so.
