New 2400 Reward

I don’t think I saw anything about this posted, but figured I’d mention it because some of the outcry is hilarious.

Essentially, it’s an item that adds some sort of effect to the elite and pve sets. Unsure what the effects will be, there’s only speculations so far. It’s also shared with high-end achievements from PVE too.

I don’t know if that means they’ll take the normal glowy effects away from the 1800 set and slap it onto 2400, but it’s quite possible.

so where is the tabard going then lol. 2400 so bloated in rewards, slap that at 2600 or smething

No pretty sure it applies the Mythic/Elite effects only to all tints of the gear, so lfr/normal/heroic/regular pvp set.

Because they mention a lfr set from Sanctum Raid/S2 pvp with mythic effects thats colored purple for the difficulty when it was originally red for mythic.

But then we don’t know how it works, it says it’s account wide, but we don’t know what is account. Like is it gonna unlock all gear that can make use of mythics/elite only effects to all sets for your class? Or you can only do it for a single set? We don’t know yet.

Yeah, that’s how I read it.

Bump Gladiator up to 2700. That’s’ about where it should be if seasons are going to be long and inflated.

honestly, that’s likely the best bet. elite and glad both being 2400 with such a small diff inbetween is just not that feasible. if not, they’ll probably throw the tabard back up to 2700 or some place.

2600/2700 tabard would be sick

this is actually one of the coolest thing’s they’ve ever added

not only is it another reward which is good but it solves the issue that 1800 or even 2k elite sets created where the sets weren’t elite at all

now the usual modern day elite sets are stuck with the worst color scheme but 2400 lets you make any of the BiS color schemes into a real elite set

that’s really really sick

i genuinely wonder how much participation 2400 +50wins glad mount added to arena over the two expacs. would it be worth ever going back to % based?

really hard to say. maybe 2500 +25wins? idk. lower the wins though please, it gives me omega anxiety.

What lvl of M+ do you get these? I may actually have a shot at wearing one. lol

keystone hero, the equiv of full 20s rn

not hard but not as free as ksm
def easier than elite or mythic raiding

That’s rad. Was actually gonna try for KSH for DF since I’m only playing one toon anyway. It’s awesome that they’re giving an actual reward for it besides gear ilvl.

Hard disagree. I want more cosmetics and things that don’t impact pvp power across the spectrum. It motivates people to play, gets MMR closer, and makes the bottom bracket less miserable for new comers. A busy arena season is a healthy one.

There’s already a tabard, title, second title, mount and now an elite conversion item at 2400.

if you get everything at 2400, it kills the drive to strive higher. im not saying 2400 should have no rewards, but it shouldn’t have ALL of the following:
-tabard
-two titles
-a mount
-soon to be some glowy effects
-a table according to kennie, but i guess mine is still at ikea

I’d be jelly if the reward was I could fly without a mount and I could take my pants off when i transmog but that ain’t happening; IMO hard to earn rewards are a good thing though - but srsly when can i take my pants off its hot in here brah :sunglasses:

100% add more past 2400 but add more all over in general. I play every healer to 1800 just to get the elite set, and then stop. If there was more cosmetic/fun items across the board, participation would be up, especially in the coveted healer roles.
