Never Used Combat Addons

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for years and consistently reach 15+ keys, Mythic raiding, and 2k+ in arena without using any addons.

I don’t say that as a flex, just as proof that the base game already provides all the information you need if you actually pay attention. The problem isn’t the lack of addons, it’s that too many players have trained themselves to rely on external cues instead of the ones the game naturally gives.

When Blizzard limits or bans certain addons, I think it will push people to re-learn how to see the game and to recognize animations, sound cues, boss emotes, and positioning without needing a WeakAura to flash an icon.
Training your brain to respond to in-game signals builds genuine awareness, not dependency.

This is a pretty dumb statement considering Blizzard’s stance is that the game doesn’t provide enough information and that’s why they’re redesigning everything in Midnight.
