I had many jumpscares myself with kobolds spawning on top of me.
Anways, I am really enjoying Hardcore realm and the sense the danger in the world.

It really does kinda make the Kobolds seem as threatening as they’re portrayed in the text quest.

Starting xyz quest, anyone wants to team up
Got few peoples to quest with me
I started a human priest and partied up with a random paladin for the Abbey. We headed for Fargodeep, which was awash with groups. A mage joined us. We were walking up the steps in the mine when three kobolds spawned at once in us. It was chaos. Pally died. I started to run. Mage died.
I was the only survivor.
Both had logged off already so I couldn’t ask how they were. Was weird.
(My priest died yesterday in a bad solo pull going the gnoll armbands. )
yup and usually with more players in an area, that means the faster things spawn, if i am correct!

I was in there, level 6, fighting one kobold and three came running from way off. They weren’t chasing anyone, I wasn’t targeting them, and they stopped and started wailing on me.
I ran of course, made it all the way to the entrance and 2 jumped me and dead.
Was pretty weird that they ran from pretty far off and jumped me like that. Whatever, we go agane.
