Yeah when I logged in I was kind of expecting something in the mail, like some fireworks or a 20th balloon toy or something, just a token to show their appreciation to the loyal playerbase for supporting their game for 20 years.

Nope.

Here’s some recycled in game rewards all tied to a time gated currency, because we know how much you guys all love things that are heavily time gated.

Also there’s some recoloured mounts in the shop if you feel like giving us more money.

How is it a grind? It’s literally 1 to 2 hours of weeklies. 3 hours of your incredibly slow about it

I’m sorry but if 2-3 hours a week is too much time for you to invest in a game then I don’t know what to tell you my guy. When it comes to an MMO that is barely any time so no I am not tripping over my words my words have never changed you’re just not listening

It was more you can do it at your own pace it doesn’t feel grindy at all. Grind is farming repetitive content for hours on end

This event is ongoing for like 11 weeks or something like that. We have a lot of time to visit the area here and there and scrap together enough for an outfit or two even if you don’t wanna do much of it. :woman_shrugging:t2:

I don’t really mind that there’s stuff you have to do to earn rewards, but part of me wishes they gave out something nice as a free gift to kick-start the whole thing.

Once you hit 100 on your account

You just do the weeklies on all your toons and you’ll have coins coming out of your ears

I never really gave this much thought, but in the near 20 years I’ve played this game I don’t remember any of the wow anniversary events. I think that actually makes this… the best one…?

I agree it would have been really cool if the Bronto was free to everybody but I’ll be honest that would have really really made the people mad who spent 5 million gold on the old one

My only gripe is the weekly quests and how they prolong this event artificially by limiting our acquisition of the needed currency. We should have a way to grind out what we want when we have the time to do it. Not have more to add to our weekly tasks.

I understand you’re trying to trick people into believing this is a great system. I deal with your type every day. Listening to clowns on Youtube accepting blizzard paychecks to tell us all these systems in WoW are fantastic every day because that’s how they earn their minimum wage.

But after 3 comments asking you ‘wtf?’ about your lying, the best you got was trying to insult me about how I spend my time in game being better in Raids, PVP, and M+ than you are?

I’m someone who actually makes use of the developed and balanced 3 Pillars of content that this game is actually known and revered for, trying to get 8 push keys a week, and clear a raid, and cap on Conq. That is the game we bought.

Earning 2 measley coins for completing 3 delves? A waste of time in a snoozefest activity that is not on my radar? But I can only get those coins once a week?

I actually did the WPVP sparks quest, it was suppose to give 1 measley coin. It didn’t! It gave me NOTHING.

Etc, etc with all these rando activities across dornogal and classic wow zones that normal people don’t balance their time around.

I don’t have time to waste on brain-numbingly easy content where it doesnt’ matter what attack buttons I push- that’s not stimulating in any way, and most importantly, that’s not FUN.

And when all said and done, I won’t have that sweet-spot 100 tokens this week, or next week or week 3 of this ridiculous grind, and maybe not even the fourth week after doing all this intentionally poorly designed, annoying time-gated GRIND of smooth-brained activities that I can bear, or have time for.

It’s pathetic.
And you’re pathetic for LYING/pretending it isn’t a 4 week/1 month grind MINIMUM.

You know just as well as anyone else reading this, that the bronze should be farmable from M+, Raids, and PVP, as well as all those low iq activities that don’t progress your character and don’t require brain activity where it does currently come from.
And most importantly it should not be time-gated, drawn out, 2 month GRIND if gods-forbid you want more than 2 or 3 T2 tier sets that you already earned with skill back in 2005.

So please stop being that disingenuous troll, and instead of lying to the people, just shut your mouth if you’re not going to be a part of the solution. You’re nothing more than a boot-licking trolly clown until then.
