And holy crap is it bad. My guild has already decided to blacklist every single hunter that is not in the guild and known to be skilled at their class. Save yourselves the trouble guys and take literally any other class instead. Hunters cause more wipes than pre nerf cthuun and ninja everything that isn’t mail. Even had one ninja robes of arugal the other day. Who else is already tired of huntards in your groups in classic?

Hunters are the worst. I banned them from my groups from Vanilla until Cataclysm.
we are doing the same with bad tanks and healers… healers that dps and run oom and tank that don’t know how to swap targets to hold threat. mages that can wait for tank to get aggro before fireballing… the list goes on

Hah… I was a Hunter in Vanilla and used to laugh at huntard stories. Maybe because I was a common sense player. For every good or great player though, there’s atleast 9 bads. Welcome to classic wow!

Seriously. Blacklisting people before you even give them a chance? Ridiculous. I’m against this trend of blacklisting because I’m not the best shaman and I could end up on one because I’m still learning. I don’t do much damage in my instances because I’m focused on having every element totem available and healing(I’m resto).
Thankfully people like my totem-fu in WC. Tremor Totem is so handy.

Just control/dismiss your damn pets
I mean a Hunter can make use of all of the stats. The other classes who would take it can’t really other than a cat Druid. It’s fair game.
That sucks, but arrows haven’t been a mechanic since Cata. Give players a bit to learn - Deadmines is the first Alliance dungeon.

It is completely possible he leveled all the way up to around 17 and didn’t realize his bow took arrows.

i have done alot of intance but mostly with Warlock,rogue,mage…i dont think i ever see a hunter joining my group , i cant wait to see what is going on! but i will be the jugde
Hunters are the reason everything is bad in the world (of Warcraft).
This is 2019, not 2004 sadly. Everyone “generalizes” a class based on one or 2 experiences. Feral druids not top DPS meters? Feral druids must suck and be trash so don’t invite a single one. Hunter accidentally pulls one mob in classic? Better blacklist them all except friends.
This type of mindset could only exist from someone who never played and doesn’t understand hunter and probably stems from salt.
Also “known to be skilled at their class” is kinda subjective, especially when the majority (if not the entirety) of your guild isn’t even level 60 yet.
